Message popup design Web GUIClosed

Hi,When calling a message with the “exec tsf_send_message” in a control procedure (i.e. default) you get a nicely styled message box. styled popup messageHowever, calling this function again when a popup is already in use (i.e. task) it seems that the message doesn’t use the styles like normally but instead uses the browser’s alert message.showing message while task is active uses browser’s alertI want my messages to have a unified style when calling them with “exec tsf_send_message”. Can this be fixed?

DnD file into Form

In Windows and Web GUI it is possible to drag a file into the form (in edit mode) to upload said file instead of clicking the “upload” button inside the column. However, in Universal GUI when dragging a file to the form it looks like it would work because of img 1. but does not actually upload the file. (the “Document upload” field stays empty)Is there a specific setting to enable this or am I seeing this the wrong way? img 1.

SSRS Server Report Variants

Hi all,This is essentially a follow up question to this topic SSRS Server Report | Thinkwise Community (thinkwisesoftware.com). Currently my main goal is to deploy variants of a report. In SF when adding a ‘SSRS (server)’ report you must enter a path. But I have a reporting server that has multiple directories for different clients and these dirs contain variants of the same report. I.e.: different logos in the variants for each client. Now I want to find a way to update the path to these reports when deploying. I did see a report table in the IAM database where I can possibly update the path, but is this recommended?Can anyone suggest other solutions? Thanks!

Unable to modify prefilters via process flow when "Off hidden"

Hi,It looks like it is impossible to modify the state of prefilters via process flows when these are initially set to “Off hidden”. Because I get a status code of -1 using the process flow monitor, but when the prefilter is initially set to “Off” it works fine.Is there a workaround for this? Thanks.

Hi all,In software factory you have a option to use/upload a SSRS (server) report, but a ‘path’ is required. Which path should I enter here?More info:A reporting server has been set up with the following url http://domain.com/reports/browse/.In this reporting server we have directories for different environments which should have their own version the report (img, text).

Add records from XML file

Hi, how can I achieve this workflow?user clicks on task user selects a .xml file as parameter user executes the task write logic behind the task which inserts some data into tables based on the information given from the .xml file(used for Web GUI)If not so clear let me know. Thanks!

Import Issue Universal GUI

Hi all,I am trying to import data using a excel sheet in Universal GUI, but am running into a problem where the existing records won’t update. Context: importing data in a detail screen.Steps taken:export data using option “Export immediately” changing some fields in excel > save excel sheet import using the “Import (update existing rows)” option. Also noticed that it doesn’t update but rather add the rows again.Please help! Thanks

Message design differ

Hi all,when executing the “tsf_send_message” function I get 2 diffirent design of the message box.For context, in img 1A. I use a custom made message named “warning_msg” in a DEFAULT control procedure which return the design shown in img 1B.img 1Aimg 1B Now I use the same concept of the “tsf_send_message” (img 2A) in a TASKS control procedure but as we can see in img 2B, it uses a diffirent design. I think it uses the browser default message.img 2Aimg 2B I would like to use the same design accross all procedures. Please help!Thanks.

Multiselect color

Hi all,when multiselecting records in Universal GUI the selected records get a gray background as seen in img 1. img 1 But when you set a background color as a conditional layout, the multiselect becomes unnoticeable(img 2)img 2In img 2 I have selected the last 3 “Service” records but it is not noticeable.How can this be fixed?Thanks.

Detail tiles not showing in Universal GUI

Hi, I have some detail links set as tiles but these aren’t showing in Universal GUI.this is my screen type with details group shown in redthese are the details which are specified to a detail groupas we can only detail group A + B are showing, but no tiles (C)this is error shownexpected resultsPlease help!Thanks

Screen type layout

Hi all,In the image below you can see that I have a section Vessel Schedule Detail (right) which is a detail component of the section Vessel Schedule (left). But in the whole context we can also see that Vessel Schedule Detail is a level lower compared to Vessel Schedule. How can I move the Vessel Schedule Detail to the same level as Vessel Schedule. I think this will also move the tasks of Vessel Schedule to the left, which are on the right now (red).Thanks.

Universal Task Bar

Hi all,I noticed that there is a duplicate taskbar in Universal gui. Ofcourse in the screentype this is added as a component but when I remove the taskbar from the screentype it seems to work as intended. Why is that? img 1: screentype where taskbar component is added img 2: screentype where taskbar component is not added

Tab page in Universal

Hi, Lately I have been trying to group some fields in my form component to another tab. This is very easy to do in web/desktop gui (img.1). img. 1But now I’m trying to achieve the same thing in Universal but just can’t seem to figure it out. My form component in Universal is as seen on img. 2img. 2 Keep in mind I would like do achieve this without adding another table. Is there a way I can do this for Universal GUI? Thanks.

Control procedure effect on API

Hi,Recently I have been encountering some problems with the OData api because of some code written in the stored procedures. Up till now I noticed that the layout and default CP have effect on the api. For instance: I had once written in my layout CP to set some fields on Read-Only if a certain condition is met. Turns out that these fields are also set on read-only for the api, which results in not being able to update the field via a mobile app and getting a 403 error. Now I have this piece of code (as show below) which I thought would only effect the gui because I specifically added the ‘@cursor_from_col_id’.But now when I use the api to update a record, the status is always set to ‘RGS’ because I have a service type that is not equal to ‘OTH’. Removing the field from the request still doesn’t seem to help this issue.How can I tackle this issue? Is there something that need to be aware of?Thanks

Conditional layout with dynamic model

Hi,I have tables which have a is_deleted column. Now I want to make a clear distinction where is_deleted = 1. I can do this with conditional layout where the background color is specific color, but adding this for each table is very time consuming. fyi: My application is in Universal GUI.Is this possible with the dynamic model? If so, how should I do this? Thanks

Dynamic messages

Hi,Is it possible to add dynamic messages to a message with only 1 parameter? What I have:A simple popup warning message with 1 parameter in Translations tab Using a control procedure to send dynamic message content to display What I get If I remove the parent text tag then I only get the first column translation and the rest is ignored which is not what I want.Is there any way of making this work?-Thanks
