Option to disable update existing records in importMerged

We would like to have a little more influence on the import actions. The import now follows the allowed actions. What means that if you cannot insert it will only update and if you cannot update it will only insert. I would like to be able to have a custom setting for the import.For example we have a page where the individual records may be edited, in the form. But new records are mostly imported via the import function. Sometimes people accidentally do an export and copy some records but they forget to remove the id. What happens then is that the record that should have been added gets updated instead. (completely logical since it is using that key) To avoid this we would like to disable the update existing rows functionality for imports.

Process flow actions should also show the variant in a open document taskMerged

In the Software Factory when working with process flows it can be a litle confusing/hard to see which action is which. For example we have 4 open document ‘supplier’ actions. Each opens a different variant. Now it is quite hard to see which is which. Especially when you want to connect nodes.Idea would be to show the variant name supplier (price_component_validation)

Add button in Indicium to redirect to the appCompleted

Sometimes users end up in Indicium and they have no clue what that is. It would be helpful for them to have a ‘go back to the application’ button. The action should be striking so that they can easily go back.

Export function to excel should follow date visualisation of userOn the backlog

We have some tables with start and end dates per row. When we do an export we see that all dates are no longer in the format that we used in the app. In Universal we use dd-MM-yyyy and the downloaded file uses MM-dd-yyyy.We would like the export function to follow the date representation that the user within the application has.

The .well-known/openid-configuration states that it should be possible, however it cannot be configured now.  It would be very nice to be able to have this authentication type.

Named versions seem to move

Since 2023.1 do we have named versions deployed on all environments. But now I am running into the same problem over and over again. The model version from 28-2-2023 15:26:24 was the one that got a name and that name was ‘2023.2.28.2’ now after the deployment we did some more work and today I want to upgrade the test environment from the model version I mentioned first. However for some reason the name (description) with the correct model version ‘2023.2.28.2’ now is assigned to the modelversion of today. So when I select the correct model version the deployment center will nagg about ‘2023.2.28.2’ is not a version you can upgrade from. I can ofcourse update the metadata json. Which I currently do. However this should just work. What am I doing wrong? Or to put it better ‘how should I do the deployments?’ I want to use deployment center.We're not yet using branches.

Deployment center install option to skip database provisioningCompleted

It would be very nice to be able to skip some of the steps when you do a deployment with the deployment center. For example the creation step. This counts for as wel as your projects and the SF/IAM databases. When the database already exists but it is empty I want it to use that one instead of having to delete it.

Export date column in Universal changes format when opening in Excel

Is there a way to make the downloaded file respect the preferred date settings?

How do I give someone rights to the analyze the system flows?

How do I give someone rights to the analyze the system flows, but I do not want them to be full admin. I somehow expected an application owner to be able to see their flows. But it seems that they are only allowed to see the Authorization menu items.

Suppress message that system flow is still running

We have a system flow that runs every minute. Most of the time it does not do anything. However sometimes it does quite a lot. This process takes up to more than a few minutes. This is aboslutely no problem. Except that this makes the indicium log file flood itself with ‘procsess still running’ exceptions.  How can we get indicium not to report this? 2023-03-22T11:38:00.3653547+01:00 [ERR] Error scheduling system flow '"flow_export_message"' for application 35. Kill system flowOpen

I would like to be able to kill abandoned or long running system flows. Sometimes a flow gets abandoned but the signal is not picked up by indicium/universal and it looks like it is still running. It would be very helpful to be able to kill any systemflow from deployed applications that runs for over a certain amount of time. Ideally the amount of time could be configured by the developers, something like we expect this flow to last for 5 minutes and if longer than 30 we want to be able to kill it.

Sending mails from Azure hosted Thinkwise.

Is it possible to use the Exchange connector on Azure? We have the Thinkwise platform deployed on an Azure instance and want to send mails from this. Or is it easier to implement the Graph API?

process flows api

Every now and then I have a system flow that does not get abandoned, whilst it should. For example last weekend we had a flow that kept on running but threw an error somewhere. There seems to be no other way to force cancel it than rebooting the server. I did however find this documentation: https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/indicium/process_flows But I couldn't get it to work. DELETE/iam/appl/{process_flow_id}({id})/I figured appl would be my app id or short name (in my case: 12 or pp) and {process_flow_id} would be ‘flow_export_messages’ (for example)What is the {id} that the documentation is referring to?

Ability to override app translations in IAMOpen

Based on this topic:The idea is as follows:In IAM you go to an app and have the ability to modify any of the translations. This can be handy for when you have several instances of one app that need slightly different translations. Of course there are some things that need some overthinking like ‘what needs to happen when a new version gets deployed’, or 'what happens when a translation has been changed or deleted in the SF‘

New versioning how to upgrade / deploy an application from an old version to the 2023 version?

We're using the deployment center to deploy our application. The test and production environment currently are on version 2.18 (from a TW 2022.2 instance). Now I've upgraded the Thinkwise platform and want to deploy the application again but now with the new version. This fails because ‘2.18 is not a supported upgrade version’ I can't find the ‘previous version’ option in the model, that used to be there, but I also cannot upgrade the application from the main branch.  How do I upgrade my application, using deployment center?

Different settings for import/export on detail/subjectClosed

It would be nice to be able to disable import/export for a detail view and still be able to import in the regular subject view (grid).

We were facing a similar issue as one that was posted here as question, and since I think it is a good idea and I can't find the idea suggested in the thread I am posting one. Case:We would like to integrate with a payment provider so the customers can directly pay whatever they have bought. This typically comes with a link to the payment provider that needs to open in a separate window while the application can wait until it is ready. At some point in the process flow a task is raised that states “next you're going to pay x amount of money” then the user has 2 options: yes or no. The yes should open the link provided in a new window. Whilst the no just cancels the task. (naming could of course be different)Once the page is opened and the user returns to the Thinkwise application the process must be able to continue where we ‘left’.TL;DR:It would be awesome to have a task that can open a link and either just open and done, await the user to return or have a callback like with payments.

SAS token does not get accepted in IAM

 Azure files as a storage type now requires a username/SAS (Shared Access Signature) token combination instead of a username/password combination. The SAS token is required for all new Azure file storage configurations. Existing configurations have not been altered. However, if you clear the username/password for an existing configuration, the password field will be hidden, and the SAS token will become mandatory.  I've tried configuring this, however it constantly fails since the SAS-token instantly gets removed when I add it to the SF application in IAM.

Azure SQL Timezone

Hi all,I am using Azure SQL (not the managed instance!) and run in the problem of all dates being UTC. Ofcourse I want to see the dates as if they are in my timezone (UTC+1) Have any of you handled with this before? And if so what solution did you use?I'm really curious on the different approaches.

Disable local login

I've tried to configure our production environment to only use Azure AD login. Therefore I disabled the local login, however it still works. Indicium does not actually hide the button. Is there some other setting I need to change as well? https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/2022/iam_dev/openid#disable-signing-in-with-a-local-account

Migrate to new server tsf_user function cannot be created

I have just exported and imported a project version from one Azure tenant to a new Azure tenant and when I now do the creation it fails on creating functions. OpenID for 3th party applications

I would like to use OpenID connect from a 3th party application to Indicium. Since IAM is able to be set up as OpenID client this should be possible. I've created a user that contains the credentials and setup the OpenID client and Resouce in IAM. However I am not able to create a connection in postman. I do get the login screen[base]/indicium/account/ui/loginBut once I login it just stays on the logout screen. I probably did not configure it correctly. Who is able to help me out with this?What do I need to fill out in these fields:

Execute a start object task only when certain conditions are met

I wanted a task to let the user fill out some information as long as that information has not been provided. Each time they login they would get this task but as soon as the information was there it would no longer popup.
