Define field height for multilines in grid similar to forms for Universal GuiMerged

Hi Everyone,In our development in Universal Gui, we have some cases where we need to put large chunks of strings in grids or just some small group of texts that we need to squeeze between the columns. It would be nice if we have the option to define height for fields similar to what we have in forms.form field height I understand that modifying such property would apply to the whole line of record, Which I think makes sense. It would be nice if it would be intelligent enough for it to apply only when necessary. One record in with one column having big height.Wrap text option that will squeeze the text inside a column width.Having this with us will make records that are long be more identifiable with one look for users.I have read some ideas regarding row heights by modifying the Model Settings, but they tackle more on the general look of grids. What I’m showing with this idea is row height be applied to records that need them but not to all pages that don't need them, making this more

Add option to Open Document to open as pop ups like lookupCompleted

With the new feature open document as floating popup available in Univeral Gui, it's nice to follow it up with another option to emulate lookup popups. Current ‘Open document’ processThe reason for that is in lookup popups, when it's opened it's the only focus of the page. Other components are un interactable, hence the grey background. Making the page opened needs precedence and attention from the user. Lookup Pop upWhile in the current one is that users can still interact with other components of the page. I understand that the choice was made because opening a page is the output of the process and lookup pop ups are pages opened while being inside a process like editing or adding a record. Open Document Pop up

Is there a way to have the badge auto refresh after updating a table?

Is there a way to have the badge auto refresh after updating a table? the table has a badge attached to it (with the select count() from table where id badge control procedure) and we set the intervals to 300 seconds but we are also hoping to know if we can have it update itself after adding new record or deleting a record

Ability to start a process flow from the moment of entering data on a field.Completed

Will it be possible to add a new process action that will trigger when a user entered data on a field? For example, after the user entered data in a field it will save automatically:Without action from the user. We can also consider keyboard actions like when user press [tab] after entering data in a field to start a process a process action.What we currently have is Edit Row process action - User has to press save button to start the process action.  Default Procedures - Can consider keystrokes but not possible to combine from process flows.

Universal GUI Keyboard Shortcuts for UniversalOpen

Hi Thinkwise,As most of our pages in our project have been moving to less forms, and for future ideas as we develop with the help of edit in grid and auto save features enabled. We were proposing for an idea for keyboard shortcuts for grids to be implemented the same way we implement them in forms. With this if I type control + shift + plus, in my keyboard add mode will happen. I know currently we can do this only in the windows gui, web gui (if I remember correctly), and universal gui for forms only.Enabling this will be a huge help for our users as they will be working faster within pages with grids only in combination with auto edit and auto save.Grid only pageThis is what CTRL + Shift + ‘+’ can do for now

Ability for double clicks that will execute tasks to work on fields(forms)/columns(grid)Open

We have an idea of instead of having a lot of tasks as buttons around the page to do specific code executions or process flow, like process action “go to row”. Maybe we can just bind them to fields and if we double click the fields, they will be able to do different things.Obviously, we already have this as DoubleClick on grid, meaning its per record. What if we can do this also per fields. If this feature is considered. It would help us have our pages using Universal Gui look simpler with the task buttons be hidden in the background. Current Double Click Feature we have.

Button Controls and etch. inside TasksOpen

Hi, I have been wondering for some time now regarding Tasks, we have a case where we need to clear all the fields in a task using default procedure but don't have any control to represent it properly. So, for now we used a checkbox to clear fields. Will it be possible in the future to allow other types of controls like buttons inside tasks or other objects (buttons in grids!) in the future? and can we bind logic to them?Maybe we can have extra property to task to have a button by default used to clear fields preprogrammed.Button Instead?

Hi, we noticed that keyboard shortcuts are only available for forms in Universal Gui, further reading in a post, a year ago said it was in a backlog, my question is if this is still in the pipeline this year?

Is there a way for us to control the prefilter bar, in Universal GUI?

I have an issue where I have 14 prefilters in a page and it collapses into vertical 3 dots when the page loads. Is there a way for us to prevent the prefilter bar from collapsing after a certain amount of prefilter icons being displayed? Can I use custom CSS? I also tried working with screen types where I added a prefilter bar under a taskbar to see if it would allow a secondary toolbar only for prefilters and I realized that universal GUI disregards prefilter bar or similar items, it seems this only works in web gui if I remember correctly.

Setting Length and Width setting for Open DocumentOpen

I would like to have a setting where we set the height and width manually for pages opened via process action “Open Document”, So we can display it depending on the usage. For example, I want to create a pop up where it displays a checklist of items like a grocery list which I pulled dynamically in a view, and this page doesn't have to take so much space, which I want to configure so it would look smaller for other users to see, and it wouldn't block most of the page when it displays for the first time.Normal Size of a floating document when opened.

Pagination in Resource SchedulerOpen

Hello TW,May I request for an implementation of “Pagination” in the “Resource Scheduler”.In our case we have thousands of records that we want to display in our “Resource Scheduler” that the screen component cuts the record with unidentifiable max no records.Resource Scheduler with “Pagination” sample. There will be cases where Scheduler will have multiple ‘schedule’ bars depending on how it is used, and it would be beneficial us if we can navigate to the records that we won't be able to see in the front page.

Hi, It would be nice if we can customize filter form fields width and height, like how we set field width and height in forms, Also having a clear filter button on the filter form is better than one by one removing the values on the fields.

Custom CSS for background color of a row in edit mode

Hi, is it possible to set background the color a record during edit mode/or none edit mode. We want to have more visual cue in the fields. Can it be done with custom CSS?Idea is in non edit mode read only we want even the read only fields to be able to read them (grey on grey issue) and in EDIT mode to have a light yellowish/orange hue that tells we are in Edit mode.so, setting the color for each separate case will be useful.Grid in edit modeRead only fields are grey back ground and the characters are also grey

Messenger Hyperlinks in Universal GUI

Hi I'm working on adding the hyperlinks for WhatsApp and Viber to an html field in a page in Universal GUI. The links for both messenger apps open installed application in the computer.but I'm not so successful with Viber. for some reason universal GUI removes the href property of the html <a> elementprobably because it doesnt start with https heres a sample. WhatsApp (Works)Link: <a href="https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=0900000000">WhatsApp</a>Viber (Dont Work)Link: <a href="viber://chat?number=0900000000" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Viber</a> Note1: the viber link works if you search for the link viber://chat?number=0900000000 Note2: when I inspected the element in developer mode in the browser it seems it is removing the href property of the <a> tag in html of universal page. I used an HTML(property) domain to render the html link tag Is there are rule on how hyperlinks are displayed in Universal? Is there a way to make this work

'Default User Groups' should always be updated by Sync to IAMOpen

​Hi,To enable us developers, apply correct role assignment to IAM 'User Groups' from SF via 'Default User Groups'. Default User Groups from Software Factory should be used as a template for related applications' User Groups in IAM.New changes from 'Default User Groups' should always apply and overwrite every time US developers 'Sync To IAM.'We were informed that "if you want to un-grant access of existing roles, you need to change it within the IAM as the Default user group will not overrule (and thus not un-grant) the existing role assignment" , in our recent ticket in TCP.Every deployments from SF to different environments or If we need to apply corrections for non development environments, We sync to IAM:* After creation once the an environment is upgraded with the new objects from SF * We do a 'Sync to IAM' for the rights changes in the 'Roles' and 'Default User Groups' from the main branch* After 'Sync to IAM' from SF, I press the 'Apply Default Authorization' in IAM for the synce

How do I by default zoom out resource scheduler when opening for the first time (in Web GUI)

Hi everyone, I was looking for a way for web GUI resource scheduler to zoom out the times scale showing 8 months instead of 7 by default. I checked the documentation and the full model module in SF and I found the zoom factor under the web and windows setting in the extender, but they work differently from each other. In web its designed to be Boolean implying we are only enabling the feature and, in the windows GUI we are giving instruction what level of zoom are we requiring. Is there any other way of zooming out the time scale for the web GUI?My current Time Scale  I don’t find any difference after i enabled this option

Option to have responsive field height in SFOpen

Based on the question I posted yesterday, I asked if its possible to have an optionfor a field to be responsive in height for Universal GUI. This can be used for fields that are meant for paragraphs of strings, like HTML and multilines since we only have in my knowledge to set fix height in SF->Subjects.Responsive field height for example will try to extend its height based on the remainingspace if there are available below it. Is it possible to have responsive field height in Universal GUI?

In the latest version of the Universal GUI, We are able to have responsive fields (provided that field width and label width are empty). Responsive fields that resizes its own width depending on the size of the screen(Width).(Is it possible to have an option or do we have an option) in the SF->Subjects->Default->Components    ->Form, where the field automatically resizes depending on the height of the screen?or Is this already possible by applying in a different way other than in Subjects?Currently In my knowledge we have "Field height in positions"  in Subjects ,to add height on a field that can contain a paragraph of strings, in SF, But this is a fixed size as shown in my GIF example.

Enable the Export Path feature in Reports for the Web GUIOpen

export path featureIn the Universal GUI we were given the feature to create custom names on our report, upon being exported. But this is not the case in the Web GUI I was referred here after opening a ticket to TCP(2165S - How to rename a report using report parameters in the web gui?)Enabling this would help us in renaming reports produced under webgui.

Error in validation after the upgrade

Hi,After the upgrade and after a few days we have a deployment.I ran the generation then I go to validation but I noticed a new validation error in its data model sectionas attached herewe didnt do any changes in the data model that are in regards to this and I was gonna ask if there is a way to clear the validation to prevent a negative impact in the future if there is any.regards,Jeff
