How to schedule a process flow?

I am trying to simply execute a task, without parameters with a process flow every hour. Indicium Universal (2020.2.2) is running, but I don't see any activity. The version of IAM is 2020.1 and al hotfixes are done. Could someone explain, step by step, what to do?

Indicium not running, why?

Again we run into problems, because Indicium stopped for some reason.I am quiet sure that everything is set up as mentioned in the documentation. But I am still not sure if all settings that are needed to let Indicium running are set. It would be helpful to have a simple checklist for this in the documentation. Now is it too much fragmented.Any ideas what else can be the reason for Indicium to stop running? In this case the customer has a on-premise configuration, so we cannot make use of Azure to monitor te webservice. For this it would be really a good idea to have the idea @Erwin Ekkel available in the GUI. As a workaround I am now considering to make system flow that updates a sort of 'heartbeat’ date field in a little application status table and use a task + badge as in indicator when the last 'heartbeat’ is longer than 5 minutes ago.

Show HTML in Previewer in Universal GUI

It seems like not possible to show HTML in the previewer component in Universal.Is this not yet possible in the Universal GUI or can it be realized in another way?See below an example of a HTML page shown in de Windows GUI versus Universal Universal:

Synchronize IAM with different DB CredentialsCompleted

In current version of TSF it is seems not to be possible to synchronize from TSF to IAM when the target DB credentials differ from the TSF Webservice credentials.Because of this, in case the credentials cannot be made equal creating a deployment package seems to be the only way to sync IAM, which is not desirable, because this is to much complicated. Especially in case of a making small changes, like a little adjustment in a roles, this cost to much time.I would expect a possibility to enter credentials before starting the sync process or save the credentials (securely) in the IAM Configuration. Or, have I missed something and is there already an easier way?

Option to only Sync Roles/Authorisation settings from SF to IAMCompleted

From version 2019.1, making a little adjustment in Roles requires a full sync between SF and IAM. An option to only Sync Roles/Authorisation Settings will help to make this routine less heavy.

Conditional refresh mechanism, for embedded HTML scenariosCompleted

Thanks to the possibility to use embedded HTML pages, the possibilities in user applications become almost endless.This allows us to upload and process multiple files, for example. Think of real-time processing of PDF invoices, msg. files and edit photos.What is still missing, is a possibility to initiate a refresh from the embedded application.I hereby offer to share my solution for uploading files with you to use it for the elaboration of this case.

Application not found message in Indicium

I am trying to activate indicium + Mobile GUI for one of my customers. The Test/Demo environment and the model of my application works without problems. Unfortunately the final application can not be found. The following error message appears:: https://[url]/api/iam returns SQLSERVER_IAM: 2018.2 https://[url]/api/5 returns Application not found I checked the following components: - Latest versions of Indicium (2018.2.5), SF, IAM (2018.2), Mobile GUI (2018.2.8). - The user has got all rights. - Application alias What else could it be?

Manual selection in Creation Process

It is very unfortunate that the 'Manual' option is no longer available.We used this option very often to have more control over the scripts that are run on the database. For example, it is not always desirable to perform the Checks and Indexes scripts, especially with larger databases.I would appreciate it if this option comes back in the platform.The Release plan blog mentioned that the creation process has been simplified, in my opinion it is not.

Upload and process multiple files (Drag & Drop)Partially completed

Quite often users need to upload multiple files from Windows Explorer and/or Outlook (attachments). I wish there was something like a ''Multi File Upload" control, with drag & drop, that enables this. After this I like to handle each incoming file with a process flow. Or is there already a workaround, to achieve this?

After adding a field or parameter, all associated stored procedures must be updated, because else error messages will appear when using the appropriate task or table after refresh. Very often it is then a matter of going through the following steps: 1. generate 2. execute The code generation can be done once for multiple control procedures. As far as I know, executing the code, must be done 1 by 1 and takes a relatively long time. A task that automatically performs the 2 steps in sequence for all selected control procedures would be great and speed up the development of applications.

Add OAuth 2.0 to HTTP connectorCompleted

I am trying to achieve integration between Thinkwise applications and Office 365. The problem I encounter is that the Authorization protocol OAuto 2.0 does not seem to be supported by the HTTP connector in process flows. The ultimate goal is to come to a solution where end users can independently set up PushNotifications in Office 365, for example if files are added in Sharepoint, incoming E-Mail messages, integration with MS Teams, etc. I guess that once the authentication OAuto 2.0 type is available, connections with others platforms like Google and Dropbox, will be possible too.

Add platform_id variable to context procedureClosed

We need to switch detail tabs on or off, depending on the platform that is used. This because some screen controls are not available for all platforms, like the Card List.Creating different variants for different platforms is not a good alternative, because this results in to much maintenance and side effects.Having the platform_id available in the context procedure would be a perfect solution for now.Or, a global function, like dbo.tsf_platform_id() is also fine.

Uniqueidentifier with NEWSEQUENTIALID as Primary KeyOn the backlog

I like to use a domain with Uniqueidentifier as datatype for primairy key fields in tables. In this case the pk field of new records should get a the value of function NEWID() or NEWSEQUENTIALID(). Using NEWID can be achieved by using a default procedure, but using NEWSEQUENTIALID() as default value in the table definition will result in better performance. I think this requires adjustments in the SF.

Using a barscanner in combination with the Windows GUI

I'm looking for a simple way to process barcodes read with a wireless barcode scanner. I can configure the barcode scanner in such a way that it sends a TAB after every barcode that is read.I have already tried to get it done with a table task and also with a detail form with auto save option. Both solutions do not work flawlessly.A multi-line field could also be possible, but the GUI expects an ALT+TAB at the end of each line.What is the best approach for an application running the Windows GUI?

Authentication method Indicium (Universal) for external applications

Together with a fellow developer, I am looking for a way to connect to Indicium (Universal) as efficiently and securely as possible from an external application.I couldn't find anything about this in the documentation and in the community.From the data traffic I have been able to deduce that the Universal GUI uses Basic/Cookie Authentication. We could use this way, but probably there is a better way.According to others, there are better alternatives such as JSON Web Tokens (JWT), instead of cookie authentication. I don't know what more the Indicium API offers in terms of authentication.I'm looking for best practice examples.Is there anyone who has already looked into this and can give advise?

Can anyone explain why table task parameters behave different in cubes? It seems like that task parameters are only passed thru for primary key columns. Or are additional settings required for this?

Output JSON data via Indicium

I am trying to make a link from a third party application to my Thnikwise application via Indicium. For this I prefer the use of tasks/stored procedures with output parameters, which works fine. To minimize the amount of requests I like to return detail data in JSON format as output. It works almost as expected, except that Indicium ads escape characters (backslashes). Conditional formatting without specific column in forms

Setting conditional formatting without setting a specific column and without condition is now only working in grids. It can be used to show a data in a grid with a different font. Unfortunately this is not working for the same table for fields in a form. Why not?

Using Font Awesome in Universal GUI

Is there a way to make use of Font Awesome icons?Since HTML is supported in grid views and form lists, I see new opportunities for making very powerful status overviews, by making use of font awesome icons in stead of images or image lookups. Something like this:

New line in memo fields without pressing the ALT buttonOpen

What is the reason of holding the ALT button, to go to a new line in Memo fields? Going to a new line by just pressing Enter, like any other application, would be very pleasant. Or add a extended property to make this possible.
