When producing cube view graphs in Windos GUI we see an expected row where we have a Date type field: However, the Universal GUI shows this Date field as follows: Question: how can we have a cube view where the row Date only shows a date without 'T00:00:00’? Please advise, thank you, Paul
More than once we get the request from our clients to have more control on grids where we can preset which columns to show and where the hidden columns could be shown when desired. At this point we have only in the web GUI the following tool from Thinkwise: However, it would be nice to have the option to make presets from within SF/Subjects. Or, if somehow we could create this programmatically. Maybe there already exists a way how to accomplish this? Please advise, thank you,Paul
Using a task we send email messages together with attachment report which is auto generated, using TSFReportMailer. This works fine, our message can be created, along with subject and recipient(s), and even sends an attachment, however, so far only in .pdf-format. According to the documentation, here https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/kb/report_mailer.html#parameters it should be possible to send the attachment in for example .xls format? in our task we added the following task parameter: We have tried various different setting, so far no luck. please advise, thank you Paul
With every new to add item our field BookingNr is auto set by for example Last high BookingNr + 1.This works fine when using the Add button (Ctrl ++), however, this does not work for the Copy button (Ctrl + Alt ++).A very tedious workaround could be to create a ‘copy’ task which copies all fields from an existing row, except for the one we wish to set separately, but this is far from ideal. Furthermore, we can refer to ‘Add new’ by verifying with@import_modebut this only separates ‘Add new’ from ‘Update’ - of course Copy would be same as Add new. I would like to know if there is a quick and simple way to do what we need without above mentioned workaround? Please advise. Thank you,Paul
We have a situation where we use tiles for the main grid's references. Then, we want to have a separate section (which is a view) on the same page where a selected record from the main grid will show related record from our view (in grid below - a TabbedDetalTabPage): we do that by creating a Detail group (P in our example below). To show the main grid at the top (which is a variant) + tiles (checked show detail tabs in variant), there is no problem. If we use the main grid (variant) + TabbedDetailTabPage (ref. to view), the connected detail group (‘P’ in our illiustration below) it works fine. However, if we want to show all, main grid (variant) + tiles + TabbedDetailTabPage (ref. to view), the tiles do not show, we get same as with 2. Questions:is what we want here, possible at all? what are we missing, or perhaps, our approach might be wrong? Thank you
Using TSFReportMailer is already a very nice feature in Thinkwise, however, we would like to know the status of a message:has it been sent not sent (perhaps reason / error report) message still in queue on mail serverIs it possible to obtain this information, and, if so, how and/or where (preferrably with example) thank you,Paul
