For filtering in specific columns Thinkwise has a great solution: you can easy filter in columns by clicking on the head of the column. This is Excel-style filter is quite similar to Excel. Within Excel there is an additional functionality which I like a lot and which I think would also be nice as functionality in Thinkwise: you can type into a search-field in the same small pop-up to filter the column. By that it is also possible to filter on a string which is not in front of the records in the column. What do you think about it, would that function be useful?
While implementing a software for a customer and changing many editable fields a got an idea. For sure, I can change to the edit mode by clicking on the ‘change to edit mode’ button or by pressing ‘ctrl+e’. But wouldn’t it be great and intuitive to just double-click on a field which is not in edit mode and then it changes to edit mode? What do you think, is it a useful function?
While implementing an application I have the following challenge: I want to change the look-up of a specific field for a variant separately from the default setting for this subject. Unfortunately the custom look-up is disabled and greyed out in the variant settings. Is there a possibility to change it separately for each variant?
During the upcycling of an application I got to the following problem: The views has been transferred from the upcycling database into the SF correctly but all the programmed logic behind it so the SQL queries hasn't. What I can do is copy the queries manually from the views in the upcycled database into the SF to make it run there. This is a proper solution if there are only some views. But in my case there are many of them, more than a hundred. Is there any possibility to do this automatically f. e. with a script? That would help a lot!
