Session is expired in Universal GUI

Since I installed a new Windows GUI (2023.3) en Universal GUI (2023.2) version last weekend (27/1/2024) some users of the UGUI are complaining that they need to login again after a while of not-working. The users are truckdrivers who deliver goods who need there tablets every now and then when they arrive at the customer to let them sign their packing slip. Before this weekend the UGUI-application did not show this behaviour and it disturbs the drivers because of the time it takes to login again.Did something change and if so is there a timer (now) in Indicium or a extended property I have to code ?

2FA with DUO PushNeeds feedback

Like many, our company uses DUO Push for users to log in on the network. We would like to use this too for the users who has an extended application in Universal GUI next to our ERP in Windows GUI. IAM supports only the TOTP 2FA with means that those users has two different ways of using 2FA to confirm login:1) Netwerklogin: simply tap the green tick2) UGUI login: copy/paste and confirm the validationcodeThe first way is much easier & user friendly then the second way.Is it possible to implement DUO Push as well in the near future?

Deployment 2023.2

After upgrading the TW Platform to version 2023.2 I'm having difficulties making a deployment package. The 4th process step keeps hanging at 95% every time I run the deployment task.Seems something to do with the location storage. What do i miss ?

Use camera to make photo's

Our mechanics would like to make photos on site when machines are malfunctioning. Is there a possibility in the UGUI to activate the camera and choose a (server)location where to store the photo. Or use storage location where to find the photo ?

Transparent signature.png disturbs the pdf

I managed to put a customers signature on the shippingdocument by using the “ add picture” and its location setting in Crystal Report. However, because the signature (collected on a tablet with the Universal GUI) is a transparent .png, it shows like this in the PDF: When I edit the .png to a pink background, it shows like this: Is there a way to solve this by getting a non-transparant signature from the U GUI ?

FTP-connector

Thursday 9/2/2023About 3 years ago my college Hugo Nienhuis asked about a SFTP-connector.The answer that time from Vincent was:Hi Hugo,The FTP Connector only supports FTP (File Transfer Protocol) and FTPS (File Transfer Protocol over SSL). It does not support SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol).Hugo made it a wish and 10+ people voted for it. Is there fresh news about this topic ?

Creation keeps handling certain tables

Every time I run ‘Creation’ de upgrade-file gives me back 4 tables which not have been changed for months. Luckily, these are not the biggest tables but it is very confusing to see not only he tables that really needs to be converted. What could be the reason they keep coming back ?

How to upload files with the HTTP-connector

In our application I want to use third party ValidSign for digital signing documents (PDF). I am using a task and the HTTP connector (via Process Flows). I was able to test the POST in Postman using this body: payload contains json-commands with signer information, file contains the PDF I want to be signed.The response I get contains an ID for further communication with the REST API.Where do I leave this parameters in the HTTP-connector ?

Convert PNG to JPEG

I would like to insert the signature from a customer in a shipping document, made in Chrystal Report.Our company truckdriver is using a application in Universal GUI on his tablet to follow his route for the day and receiving a signature after delivering the goods. The signature is saved as a .png, Inserting it as a picture on the shipping document results in a black square. When I convert the signature to a .JPEG it shows the signature fine. Is there a direct way to save the signature as a .JPEG ?

OData null values

I've created a API-routine to collect article-items. The purpose is to use these items to refresh webshop-information by a third party. The following problem occurs: when a description of an article is emptied in the ERP OData seems to skip the field in the output because it is NULL. The third party will not recieve any data so the description in the webshop stays filled. Is there a way to force NULL-fields to be in the API-output without using spaces oslt in empty fields where the third party has to coop with.

Update 'modified on' during merge branche -> trunk

What is the trigger to update ‘modified on’ within templates ? I see in my merged version using Full model, item Templates that when I sort on ‘modified on’ some templates have the same date as in the previous version (Trunk or Branche) and some not. But when I check the needed changes in that templates the changes are there ! It would be much better (and more trustfull...) if every changed templates has the right (=last) ‘modified on’ from Trunk or Branche, depending the chosen merge-action. I read the topic  'How is code history in templates supposed to work?’ but I'm talking about the date modified in the template itself

Export Excel from TW-application

There are two options: 'directly' or 'advanced options'. Choosing 'directly' causes rows from 15 and 30 (and more... ?) height depending of the content of a cell. To avoid this you need to choose for 'advanced' and set 'Tekstterugloop' off. Apparently this setting is 'on' when you choose 'directly'. Is it possible to change this setting to avoid choosing 'advanced' because of the 3 follow-up screens you have to skip before you can choose 'Voltooien' ?

Upgrade SF to 2018.3

Last week we upgrade the SF from 2018.02 to 2018.03 and since then we have trouble with the performance. Our application starts normal but when we choose for the first time a (simple) menu-option the waitingtime is more then 6 minutes before it shows a result. The same after every 'refresh model'. Similar problem occurs when we start the SF itself, if freezes about 15 seconds before we can chosse an option. See the screendumps below

Repeating view every 30 seconds

Hi, In debug-mode we see every 30 seconds a select executed which we can not seem to influence. The settings in the subject(variant) are not used (please noitice the screendumps) How can we (de)actived this or where can we find this (default??) setting ?
