Passing parameters to DevExpress with Reportingservice

I am trying to pass a variable to a DevExpress report using the Reportingservice. When I call the report directly, passing the parameter directly as a Report parameter, it works fine. When I am trtying to pass it with help of the rapport_params it fails somehow. In the rapport_params I inserted the following values:id 149530report_id 115036parmtr_id order_nrparmtr_value 1035939 Inside the DevExpress report I have defined the variable: When I use a value in the preview it also works fine, so I guess the problem is in passing the value from the Reportingservice to the report? Does anyone have any experience with this?

http connector status code -1

I am trying to use the http-connector to connect to a website/webshop (http://webshop.coffeefresh.nl). The http connector is returning error code -1. When I do the same request to http://bol.com for instance I receive status code 0 / http 200 OK. I can reach the URL without any problems using a browser or insomnia. Just not with the http connector. What can be the cause of the -1 error code, or, where do I look for the problem?

Closing tabs on switching applications in IAMCompleted

When changing the application in IAM the existing tabs, which were opened by the user, will stay open. It would be nice if this could be changed and that when someone changes from one application to another application, the existing tabs were closed. Not as a default but as an option using extended properties.

sending a pdf with the http connector

I am trying to upload a pdf file to an external server. The http-connector should sent a multipart/form-data message, consisting of an application/json part and an application/pdf part.I have constructed the message and I am able to upload a file to the server. However, the pdf file seems to be corrupted or somehow transferred incorrectly.I am reading the pdf file as a varbinary and since I am unable to insert a binary in the content-variable of the http-connector, I am forced to convert the varbinary to a varchar. I use the following code to do so:convert(varchar(max), @file_data, 1)To evaluate I have sent the message from the Thinkwise http-connector as well as from Postman to RequestBin.com. Rights can not be applied because of multiple tenants applied to one application

I upgraded our applications in a single IAM with multiple tenants. There are 2 tenants and one user from one tenant has access to different applications. We achieved this by making a new tenant, create 2 usergroups, for each tenant 1, and then aply the user rights to IAM. Works fine. However, when I try to upgrade these applications I have the following error displayed while trying to applying the roles to the database:I bypassed the situation by removing the authorisation before applying the roles to the database and recreate the authorisation afterwards. Why is this not possible? (using TW platform 2021.3)

Changing a Branch-project to Trunk-project

Some time ago we have created a branch from our original application. The original application is live. We have merged the trunk project to the branch and we will soon go live with this new/extended application. When we want to create a branch from this branch we receive a message that this is not supported. Since the original application will be obsolete anyway, we would like to 'upgrade' our current branch to trunk. Is this possible and if so, how? We are currently using 2018.3.

webgui input problems

In our application we have several tables where we want to select a customer. After pressing ctrl + we can select the customer from a lookup field. We have noticed that on many occasions after typing the first 2 or 3 characters, the field refreshes (?) and the cursor is back at the beginning of the field. That results in the problem that when we want to type 123 the input is 312, see screenshot.We have tried to evade the problem by starting with the focus on a different input field (datefield). To our surprise the focus was set to the customer select field in stead of the date-field. After removing the def-statement that fills the datefield, the focus was on the datefield after pressing ctrl +. In the last situation we also have troubles typing a date: sometimes the webgui doesn't respond to typing anything, sometimes we can enter one character and then it stops.We do not have this problem with the desktop gui. We are using platform 2020.1 and webgui 2021.1.10.0.How do we solve this pr

insufficient memory

Hi all, One of our users triggers an ‘insufficient memory’-error on a regular basis (approx. 1x per week/ 2 weeks). The same error now and then appears among his collegues, but not quite as often (3 times in the past 12 months). We have checked the available memory, which should be more than enough. I have tried to reproduce the error by trying to overload the server-memory, but I was not able to reproduce the error.Does anybody know where this message is coming from? We work with Remote Desktop Services, the hardware is up to date. TW platform = 2019.1; SQL2014; GUI Windows Desktop 2020.2.17.

importing data - unable to import date column

I am trying to import data from an excel-file, using the universal gui. This works, but certain records contain an end_date. These records are rejected by the import-module.I have been checking for constraints, data-type, triggers and handlers, but nothing seems to work. I have another date-column (start_date) and that works fine, so it looks some functionality is blocking the insert. So, my main question is: when importing data, what functionality is applied to the records:triggers? handlers? constraints? defaults? lay / ctx ? anything else?I just want to know where to look for the problem.

file upload control not working in Universal gu

I am trying to upload a file using a simple task with a input parameter using the file upload control. Using the windows and webgui everything works fine, but in the universal gui it does not. I tried to use a file system and ftp storage location, this makes no difference, the universal gui fails. Sometimes I receive a file_upload_not_finished error, sometimes the second error shown below. In case of the second error and ftp storage there is the following entry in the error logs:[ERR] Failed to get E-Tag for file path ftp://ftp.****.nl/test/2022-0267.xml. Records in report queue are not being processed

We have a Reporting Service installed and configured to look at multiple instances/databases (development and test). All records in table rapport_queue are processed for the first connection. When a record is added in the second application, it is not processed by the Reporting Service. After a restart of the service, all records with report_status = 0 are processed correctly. New records will not be processed after a restart. We have uninstalled the Reporting service (3.00) and installed the latest version (3.20) with no different result. What could be the problem? Reporting Service and shared printers

We are trying to print a batch of documents with the help of the reporting service. The logfile shows : 2019-03-01 08:39:47.5227|ERROR|dev_cf_finas|115|Printer name '\\digiserver\Thinkwise_Facturen' not found in installed printers. Valid values are: Microsoft XPS Document Writer. 2019-03-01 08:39:47.5383|FATAL|dev_cf_finas|115|Something went wrong while processing this report: Printer name '\\digiserver\Thinkwise_Facturen' not found in installed printers. Valid values are: Microsoft XPS Document Writer. We are using shared printers on a specific server. It looks like it can not find these shared printers, only locally installed printers. Is there a way to get access to the shared printers?

DevExpress parameter null value

I create a DevExpress report using a stored procedure. I have 2 parameters with the actual value NULL: Somehow the report tries to execute the stored procedure with a value of -1 instead of NULL: I checked the NULL value allowed checkbox in DevExpress, so that should not be a problem I think. Filter behaviour in IAM applying rights

I have noticed that the filter in the IAM task ‘Apply user rights to the database’ works different from the filter in the IAM task ‘Apply user rights to IAM’.Starting with the latter: when I apply rights to IAM with the filter cleared like thisthe users will receive the following error: When I select all rows in the user tabel, and apply the rights like this: the users are able to log in.When applying user rights tot he database it seems to be the other way around: if I select all rows and then apply it only applies the rights to one user; if I clear the filter it applies rights to all users.Is this the intended behaviour? Windows gui 2021.3.18; platform 2021.3 - Indicium universal 2021.3.18.

Parameter papersource when using Start Report in a Proces flow

I am trying to set the Printer tray value of the Start Report action in a proces flow. I am unable to do so. I use a process parameter with datatype nvarchar to fill the “ Papersource name” property of the report, but it turns up empty every time. Manually I can set 3 different values. What do I need to do to select one of these values through a variable? (FYI: I am able to set the no of copies, printer name, report action etc, it’s just the tray that doesn’t work).

Dev Express and Reporting service

I would like to create a Dev Express report using the Reporting Service. Currently we are using Crystal Reports, which works fine using the Reporting Service, but I receive the ‘Het laden van het rapport is mislukt.’ - error when I try to create a Dev Express report. Is any additional action required to create a Dev Express report? SSH-protocol support for FTP-connectorOn the backlog

Mobile - username and password combination is incorrect

Hi, I am trying to get an application for mobile up and running. I have made a small test application and deployed it on a test server using our test_iam. When trying to log in using the desktop viewer I receive the above error. The network tab in debug shows no error. Using insomnia I am able to login to retrieve the metadata using the same credentials. The IIS and indicium are working fine, we are also using it for communication with our webshop. I checked all iam user settings, but they seem fine since I can start the application with the desktop GUI as well. screen login: What am I doing wrong here?

combined filter in universal gui

I am testing our application with the universal gui (GUI version 2021.2.14.0; Platform version 2021.2). I am using the universal directly against the Software Factory. I noticed that when I use the combined filter it does not always give me the expected results. For example, I am trying to filter the company name: This works fine, so it seems. However when I type one more character (the 13th character :-)) it does not find any results: Also, when I type characters from the middle part of the name it does not work: But when I type Classic, it gives me the desired result: Is this normal behavior, am I missing something or is something wrong here?

error logging in results in page refresh and makes the error disappear

A long title for a fast problem ;-) When I log in using the universal gui and I use a wrong password there is an error displayed saying the password is wrong. But, the message disappears after 0.5 seconds because ( I assume) the page is refreshed. The Devtools seem to suggest this is because it is redirected to the return URL, which is basically the same as refreshing the current url: Is there something I can do about this?

sftp connector not connecting

I a using the ftp connector with succes so far. At this moment I am trying to connect to a sftp host with the following input: URL: sftp://server8.servers.am-impact.nl:2222/ ftp_con_enable_ssl: ftp_ssl_on I am using the ftp_method_nlist to test the connection. Using this results in a -2 statuscode ( Unsuccessful (invalid URL)). When I change the URL to ftp in stead of sftp I receive a -1 statuscode (Unsuccessful (unknown)). The ftp-statuscode is 0, the description is empty. With the same url and credentials I can log in to the sftp host using FileZilla, so there seems to be no problem on that side of the connection. Does anybody know what could be wrong?
