Unit testing with translated messages

Hi communityIn our application we use the tsf_translate function for the translation of messages in our business logic (see post  for details) .However, we have some problems using the translated messages in unit tests. The function is depends on the session_variable ‘tsf_appl_lang_id’, but this is not set during the execution of the unit-test.Setting the session_context for ‘tsf_appl_lang_id’ in the preparation of a unit-test is also not possible, resulting in an error ‘Cannot set key 'tsf_appl_lang_id' in the session context. The key has been set as read_only for this session.’ during the execution of the unit-test.Any ideas how to test for messages generated by tsf_translate in a unit-test?Your help would be appreciated.

Add data-testid to treeview type menu itemsOpen

For the listbar- and tile menu in the Universal GUI, data-testid's are added on the html-elements for the buttons. These data-testid's are missing on the html-elements for the buttons in the treeview menu. Only the html-elements for the icon and the label contain a data-testidA data-testid on the html-element of the button would really help for styling and testing purposes

SF 2023.2 reports unit tests failed without any failed unit test

Hi community,When we run a complete generation of the ‘main’ branch of our model, the step ‘Run unit tests’ fails (red progress bar). However, with the prefilter ‘Failed’ enabled, no failed unit test is shown (see picture). When we create a new branch of the ‘main’ branch and do a complete generation, the ‘Run unit tests ‘succeeds (a green progress bar is displayed) Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.

Universal Custom CSS - Additional settings for specific modesCompleted

Goal: customizing the Universal GUI for different platformsIt could be helpful to tweak the Universal GUI based on the platform. We would like to make a difference in look & feel between mobile and universal logins.Currently there is no selector in the custom css, so selectors for ‘mobile’, ‘universal’, ‘windows’ and ‘web’ could do the trick

Action analysis in Universal GUIOpen

In the past, when we used the WebGUI, we used the IAM Action Analysis. After switching to the  Universal GUI we can't get any data from the Action Analysis in the IAM. For us, as a ISV, it is valuable for us to know how our application is used by our customers and users.

Document preview of PDF on Android devices

Hi all,In our solution, we show a pdf file for our users using the preview component. On all devices (desktop, IOS and Android) this is working as expected, except for the default browser on Android : ChromeThe expected behavior is that a preview of the document is shown in the previewer. However, for Chrome on Android the user has to click to open the document.Preview component in Chrome on Android We deliver the mobile application as a easy and accessible solution to show drawings. For us as an ISV, it’s hard to explain our customers that this is not working on Chrome on Android.Options for now areFirefox on Android (as this is working), but that not an easy and accessible solution for the end-user. iOS (Apple) but that’s a choice the customer has to make (and is not up to us as an ISV)In the long run these are not viable options.Are there any other options to show the preview or is there any change this will be fixed in the preview component?

Universal GUI : Refresh On Document Switch not working?

Recently we’ve upgraded our Test- and Staging environments in Azure to Indicium 2023.1.15 and Universal GUI 2023.1.15.1 and enabled the Extended Property RefreshOnDocumentSwitch = Yes as described in the release notes of Universal GUI 2023.1.15Release Notes Universal GUI 2023.1.15 | Refresh on revisiting a page or tabHowever, we don't see any refreshed data when a user revisits the opened document in the menu.Are we missing something? Any help would be appreciated. PS: We have disabled ‘Show Open Documents’ in the software factory, so we don't show the open documents in the menu.

TSF Error during merge session

During a merge session in SF2023.1, we get the following error “The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "ref_change_log_change_log_template". The conflict occurred in database "xxxx_SF", table "dbo.change_log".There were some merge conflicts we resolved before the task was started. I've got no idea how to solve this. Can we solve this, or is this an issue in the SF? Any help would be appreciated.

Zip file / Delete folder connector requires full path to Source folder

Can somebody explain why the full path to the Source Folder (pointer) is required in a “Zip File” or “Delete Folder” connector (see image below)?  For these connectors, a storage location is already specified in the Process Action. So, to let this process action work, we’ve to include the storage location in the path. However, this decreases the maintainability. Changing the Storage location in the model, will also require an update of the process flow.I would expect a relative folder to be set in the “Source file or folder” for these actions. Am i missing something?

Software Factory error during Executing Source Code

Recently we've upgraded to SF2023.1 (with all hotfixes including 202300116 - Subrouting option copying from base models’ applied). Everything went well and we done some model generations with this version of the SF.However, after merging a branch recently, we’re facing an error during the execution of the functions. The creation of the function ‘tsf_original_login’ fails because the script contains duplicate lines for ‘returns varchar(128)’ and ‘with schemabinding’ How to solve this? Any help would be appreciated.

Using tsf_user() in a default value expression

Using the dbo.tsf_user() in a default value expression (see image below) leads to an error in execution of a model (after an upgrade from SF2021.2 to SF2022.2) We experience the following error during execution of the source code:  Error: 'Column "dbo" is not allowed in this context, and the user-defined function or aggregate "dbo.tsf_user" could not be found.'.Any ideas?
