In the new SF version the tile image is removed as described in the release notes: Releases 2022.1 | Field Tile image removedPart of this change is also the possibility on the theme level to disable the display of icons on "Document tab" or "Container tab". When disabling icons at the container level (Themes > General > Tabs > Icon), icons which are assigned as screen components tab icons remain visible.It seems obvious to me that your choice of theme should override this, agree?

Let's discuss about the code behind the IAM prefilters (Active- Inactive user)

In my opinion, the prefilters Active- and Inactive users in the IAM users screen are misleading, what do you guys think?I would have expected the condition behind the prefilter to look at whether the user falls between the start and end date of the account. In the example below, I would expect this as an active IAM user. Actual date 19-04-2023 is between 17-04-2023 and 21-04-2023What the prefilter actually seems to do is look at the user's log sessions. from [usr] as t1where ((exists (select 1 from use_log_session l where l.tenant_id = t1.tenant_id and l.usr_id = t1.usr_id)) and (exists( select 1 from tenant ra1 where ra1.tenant_id = t1.tenant_id and (dbo.is_authorized_tenant(ra1.tenant_id) = 1))) ) and (t1.[name] = N'(In)active ((In)active)order by t1.[email] If my interpretation of active/inactive in previous example is wrong I would expect the prefilter based on current sessions to filter for users "currently" having an active session in the application. Unavailable domain element(s) untranslated

If you make a domain element unavailable, the GUI no longer shows the translation of the element but the database value for already existing records.Element "post_address” unavailable GUI result when element is Available in SFGUI result when element is not Available in SF⭕ I'd like to report this as a bug.

The branch diagram display does not scale properly when the branch name is too largeCompleted

It would be better if the diagram scaled with it. If this is not technically feasible, an alternative would be to use a tooltip function with the mouseover to display the full name. Unreadable branch name 💡If this is not technically feasible either, a possible solution could be to use a branch alias with an E.g. nvarchar(8) that is used in the branch diagram as a representation.

How can you suppress something in DevExpress based on page numbering?

We are converting a current Crystal Reports report into DevExpress Report Designer. However, in CR I was using a standard formula if PageNumber <> 1 then formula = true to show our company logo only on the main page and a smaller logo on the remaining pages.Supress company logo on pages unequal to 1For the PageHeader in DevExpress, the Print on can be applied where "Not with Report Header" can be selected. However, this does not apply to the large company logo because it is in the ReportHeader. Match any (OR) in prefilter groups

After the SF upgrade 2023.2, I enabled OR filtering on a prefilter group.I expected that with the config below, I could now click multiple filters from the "admininistration" group to apply them as OR to the dataset.Multiple active prefilters - Match any (OR)However they are now all prefilters greyed out (read-only).This seems to be caused by the prefilter being "On locked" by default. In my opinion it is a bug because it is quite possible to combine an "On locked" filter with 1 or more filters.

Source names at startup against SF unclear

Developer mode (Debug) for main administrators

I would like to discuss this topic based on the following quote from the Thinkwise documentation:" When your end product is started in developer mode, extra options become available in the Developer tab in the ribbon. For main administrators, developer mode is enabled by default. ”As Main administrator of the tenant, the Developer button is visible but the debugger does not work. You can access the debugger but as shown below it remains empty regardless of any actions.Debug remains emptyAs a work-around, I always log in with another shortcut based on another configuration file (.ini) in which I specifically include ExecutionMode = Developer. In my opinion this should not be necessary because I already have the role Main administrator.May I consider this a bug and can it be fixed❓or are there other opinions❔

Using Certificates instead of Client secrets to identity when requesting a tokenOpen

Credentials enable confidential applications to identify themselves to the authentication service when receiving tokens at a web addressable location (using an HTTPS scheme). For a higher level of assurance, Microsoft recommend using a certificate (instead of a client secret) as a credential.I don't rule out Microsoft supporting only certificates in the future. Therefore, development in this area does not seem to me to be a wasted investment. For the Universal GUI, we use Identity Provider "Azure" where IAM is linked based on Client ID and Client secret. Because "Client secrets" have an expiration date it would be nice to use a certificate instead of client secret ID.Expires in 730 days (24 months)

For the Universal GUI, we use Identity Provider "Azure" where IAM is linked based on Client ID and Client secret. Because "Client secrets" have an expiration date it is our preference to use a certificate instead of client secret ID, is this already possible? Expires in 730 days (24 months)

Generation process calculated columns

Where in the generation process are calculated columns generated and written to the database?This question came to me after I saw that you can modify the calculation query at Subjects. Changing a calculated column is not a GUI but DB change, right?

Improvement SF validation "Domain is not in use"Completed

The SF came up with the validation message "Domain is not used". After deleting the domain I found out that some functionalities were giving an error message because the domain was using in a declare. To have the validation perform a code search on the domain name is probably very difficult (because a domain name in a code template can be anything) but feel free to make it so if possible. I would at least suggest that the validation Description, Consequence or Solution text be expanded to alert a developer that performing a code search on this domain name is a required action before deleting the domain. The developer can then determine to keep the domain or to replace the declared domain with another domain or data type.

Improve start-up speed application

When the application is started for the first time, the reports are stored locally in the "C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\ThinkwiseSoftware\GUI\GUI\Cache\Images\NIVERPLAST_4.50\Report" folder. With the release of a new GUI, I understand that the system will replace the local GUI folder and it will also take a little longer. However, how can the performance be improved for the daily start-up of the Windows GUI without any changes having taken place. For example, is it really necessary that the reports are replaced in the ..\Cache\Images\NIVERPLAST_4.50\Report" folder every time? Messages Audio file

I’ve added an .mp3 file to a message that goes off from a default under certain conditions. Unfortunately, it does not seem to work in both the Windows and Universal GUI. 🔇 No audio; ⬜ No preview available; .mp3 and .wav No preview available.Am I missing something? The new feature to add a sound to your message by uploading an Audio file in not yet in the (TCP) feature matrix.

Signature control | Status code 400

📖 It would be nice if the documentation were expanded to explain how to set up the signature component. Signature control I have 2 columns signature and signature_file with data type NVARCHAR(MAX). Column "signature" with a domain with user interface control "Signature". The other column "signature_file” is used as storage column. ❗When placing a signature in the Universal GUI I get a bad request error message. Request Method: PATCH | Status Code: 400

Why aren't the "Task tiles" working?

I've added the task and report tile components to various screen types but doesn't seem to work 🤔. Windows GUI - Local windows settings (calander) 2022.2

Since the SF/IAM upgrade to the new version 2022.2, users in the end application have been experiencing problems with date control. For example, the calendar in the Windows GUI no longer starts with the local user settings.Time zone information setting for users Even with changing the domain time zone which is behind the relevant column the calendar continues to start with Sunday as the first day of the week. Time zone "Local”In the SF, I am using the CustomDateMask runtime. SF | Runtime configurations✔ Local pc settings are correct (Monday as the first day of the week);✔ IAM user has Time zone "Europe/Amsterdam” ; How can we fix this 😮?

401 (Unauthorized) - GET $eager=profile_picture

When opening the Universal GUI login page, DevTools gives a 401 (Unauthorised) error. After logging in with a user with a picture uploaded in IAM the error is shown again. GET https://office.niverplast.com/indicium/iam/iam/i_ui_usr?$eager=profile_picture401 (Unauthorized)401 - unauthorized. The user is not logged in to Indicium (anymore). Note that the login page will execute i_ui_user before login to validate whether the user has logged in or not. This may cause a 401 error on purpose if not.Once logged in, the profile picture is displayed correctly.Isn't this GET request an attempt to read the IAM profile picture? Isn't it unnecessary that the request is fired at the login screen?
