For a project, we would like to be able to create RDBMS users from inside the end product. For context, we are using a configurator inside the end product from where we are able to enter the first employee of a new company. We would like to make that employee be able to log in after we finished the configuration. I know which steps to take if I do it by hand; namely: sync my application to IAM, apply the roles to the database, create an IAM user, connect the user to a role, apply the user rights to the end product database and IAM database. Then the user is able to log in. But now I would like the end product to do this process. I'm able to create an user in IAM and give the user the right user group. Now I'm stuck because I can't apply the user rights to the end product database and IAM database. I noticed these tasks aren't Stored Procedures on the SQL database. Hi,Currently we write a html(body) file as the actual email - where we for example want to have a company logo embedded in the email. (as in <img src=”...”>). Then we start the smtp_connector and use this html(body) as input. For DevExpress this a html(body) content that is provided from a view column. (Which in turn will generate a pdf report with the image embedded).Can you share your best practice for this and how you have implemented these embedded images?(i.e. use an external website (and how do you serve/upload the picture?) or use CID or base64 or ???)ThanksRickyps. The email variant will not embed the picture due to the location of the <img src=”\\somelocalserver\picture.png”>, the DevExpress report will work just fine. changing the location of the picture to say for example https://i.imgur.com/tt5Vrmp.png (as you do for your emails) will surely work for emails but I haven’t checked if this would work for DevExpress reports

The theme for our application was developed a long time ago (2014 with TSF G8).Because we are now using the screentype component “Prefilterbar” more often, we need to improve how this looks. When we designed this, apparently the background color was set to gradient (white to gray) but now it is not always clear when a prefilter is active or inactive. This is especially a problem in the web GUI. Hi, We are having a central (non-thinkwise) HR system for maintaining our employees. Ideally we would like to call an API on IAM to create a new user as well as to de-activate an existing user (settting USR.END_ON date) from this HR system. Do these API's exist and if so, where can we find the documentation to use them? thanks

I wanted to do this in the default procedure, but this is only executed after an edit has happened and not on the moment that the edit button is pressed (like the layout procedure). Hi!Is there a way to hide all the action buttons (so including the Refresh button)? We are using a Detail Tab in the Screen Type and we would like to see all the action buttons, including the white-space, to be hidden. ps. Turning off the ‘Navigation’ checkbox does not help.
I have multiple tables with an is_active column. On each grid I want to have a table task that triggers the same task. It is possible to link one task to multiple tables.But what I want, is to define a single template that can work on each of these tables. And maybe can use a placeholder for the actual table name.

Hi,I am getting the following error message when I try to update a record in a view:“View or function 'vw_bestel_leverancier_artikel' is not updatable because the modification affects multiple base tables.”The view is created with a template with a from clause on the table inkoop_advies, with 2 joins to the artikel and leverancier table. Within this view, i want to update a record in a column that refers to inkoop_advies.aantal, which throws the error above. The table inkoop_advies has only a self reference, which might cause this issue.I want to be able to edit in grid and change records in the view that refer to inkoop_advies.aantal. I can create a default that updates the correct row, but that will still trigger this error, but change the value nevertheless.Could an instead of update trigger be the solution? I am not sure how to implement that.Or can this be solved differently? Thanks in advance.

But we have troubles with setting the Project folder specification for the Creation procedure since Software Factory version 2021.3. Our Indicium runs in AWS ElasticBeanstalk, the folders of which we cannot reach directly.Ideally we would like to write those code files to an AWS S3 bucket. Is there a way to do this?

I have a list with a status and status icon. When I have a task that updates the status, de icon changes also. However the text updates, but the icon doesn't update, only when I navigate away from that screen-element, go to another document for example and return to the initial list the icon has visually changed.. Would this be some kind of caching issue?

Hi, i have 2 tables as shown in the picture below: when i try to set up a look-up in Subjects on item_cast columns, it works only for item_type_cast, the final output is shown in the picture below: when i press the “search” icon, i see no entries in warehouse_items_table. Main problem is: i don’t know how to build a look-up with a reference to 2 primary keys.
