Hi, I have a task for searching something.Start Task from menu. Enter value (shipment number), open document - start empty, change filters.When I enter the exact value it works ok. Open the table and show the row. For example: Shipment number: 22fe0530This will output this query in the debugger: as t1where (t1.[shipment_number] = N'22fe0530')However, I want people to be able to use the filter similar to ‘ctrl - G Filter’ .When I set ‘Allow Wildcards’ in my PF step ‘Change Filters’, it still searches for the exact entered value, giving this; as t1where (t1.[shipment_number] = N'22FE*')When filtering in the ‘ctrl-G filter’ it outputs; and (t1.[shipment_number] like N'%22fe%')Which will result in several rows that match. The documentation states that the COL value must be EQUAL, so the = makes sense. But then.. What to do with the wildcard?In short, can it be done to output all rows with Shipment_number like 22fe% - when entering a value in a task and then open the document, and show t
How can we unprotect a branch? This branch was protected by accident, and I would like to archive it after merging. I cannot alter the checkbox ‘Protected’.
Hi,Perhaps a small bug, but not sure. I have a detail table, 'unit’ with a grid only screentype. Edit in grid is on by default. 34 columns pk, unit_number, client_account_id, full/empty. When I click the gui copy button, a new row is added. When immediately clicking the copy button again, the gui controls crash. Edit/copy/save and suck stop working. Also on other tables. No errors in the Indicium log.Opening other rows, tables etc also fails. GUI version 2023.3.13.0.0Blommetje
Is it possible to close a open document after saving? I have a process flow that opens a new screen as an open document. Here, you can modify some data, but after saving this data, I want this open document to be closed. So the trigger for the action has to be the save button in the screen.
Hi I have to use the@cursor_to_col_id in my default for a view.But that view is exposed on 2 seperate screens and both of them need a different column to get the focus.But because it is a single view both screens will use the same default…As far as I'm aware I cannot filter on variant either inside a default? Otherwise I could use 2 variants.I can't retrieve the parent (both are details of a different parent) as well I think?
Hello, I have a Task which is desired for adding a certain Item. The settings looks like this: The issue I face is that my layout display a certain amount of columns based on the data that was chosed on the modal pop up. For example if I chose a type of X, then I would have a certain amount of fields shown on the screen. If I swap from X to Y, then less fields would be shown on the screen.For the instance, the layout holds and displays good when the type displays mostly all of the fields on the screen but if I chose an item that has a few or bearly none fields to be displayed, then the modal will be automatically resized to have just 1 column. This is where I encounter the problem, because if I switch back to X, then I will have just 1 column in the modal, instead of 3 as it was originally.Example:Step1 - Initial layout Stept 2 - Changed the row type to something that display less fields Step 3 - Chose back the initial type. The layout does not have 3 columns again. What should I do in

After changing the application logo, the old logo remains on the start screen of iPhones, even after deleting the shortcut from the start screen and remove the website history of the application from the storage. For a CLR procedure it is possible to register an DLL assembly, so both can be deployed with the Software Factory.However, this will fail when the assembly is not signed. You can bypass that by adding the assembly to the trusted assemblies, using sp_add_trusted_assembly. Hi, Recently we have added two reports in our app. These work ok, no other reports. However, since we added them, our deployment breaks. Executing Database Server script 'MODEL_SYNC.sql' - sync_role_tab_variant_reportError; Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'tab_variant_id', table 'CENTER_ERP_IAM.dbo.role_tab_variant_report'; column does not allow nulls. UPDATE fails.We use both reports on 1 table, we do not have report variants nor table variants in play here . I have applied the rights - several times and checked the settings. Do not see anything weird with it. When I comment out the code from the model_sync.sql, all seems good. Any thoughts on how this can be fixed? What could be the cause of it? Thanks! Blommetje
We have installed the platform Release 2024.1. After that, we can not start the Windows GUI with the SF as metasource. In previous versions it worked fine, showing all active runtime configuration apps in the the sidebar. At the moment, we show prefilters in the prefilter bar. The prefilters only show an icon, and no text. Unfortunately, it can be pretty hard to find an icon that perfectly reflects what the prefilter does. Therefore, a text/title can sometimes help. Luckily, this can be found in the overflow menu. Is it possible to influence each prefilter to define whether we want it to be displayed in the prefilter bar or the overflow menu?
I have seen this topic, but that does not solve what I want.We have a TW application, running at several customer sites.One of the main forms is a view presenting a list of records.I want the possibility to add a default prefilter for an IAM user group. This prefilter will not be predefined in SF because the prefilter could be different per customer. So this is a consultancy solution. There is IAM, Authorization, User groups, Group preferences, Default prefilters; but here I can only select a default prefilter as created in SF. I need to be able to create a prefilter in IAM, based on a column value.I find something that looks like what I'm searching for, but this is per user and making it ‘default’ does not seem to work. This is in: IAM, Authorization, Users, User preferences, Prefilters. Here I can define a custom prefilter using the ‘prefilter columns’ tab. Only I can't get it to default activate after loading the application. It can be manually activated though, using the ribbon.I
Hello all,I stumbled over a detail tab with Users in IAM. It is callled "Notifications” and I have no clue where it is being used.Some process however “reads” the entries en removes them. I expected it to be something for the universal GUI, but I haven't found a single message anywhere when (staying) signed on as a specific user. The message I entered in IAM is removed after an unknown number of minutes however.Can anybody tell me where this could be used for and where such a message can be expected to show up?
After upgrading the TW Platform to version 2023.2 I'm having difficulties making a deployment package. The 4th process step keeps hanging at 95% every time I run the deployment task.Seems something to do with the location storage. What do i miss ?
Is there a way to have a user apply his/her own Theme picture?Customers always like to have a little personalization available, so we are thinking of making the theme picture an option so they can apply their personal or company picture the background image. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the answer to the question below in the documentation/community, so we're asking it here.When migrating an existing application to the SF environment, all roles, etc. are also migrated.It turns out that sometimes different roles set permissions on the same objects (tables/fields).Unfortunately, it appears that some (also migrated) user groups contain multiple of these roles, leading to "rights conflicts".Example:role seller has read-only rights to a field in table Arole controller has write permissions on that field in table AUser group "Special employees" contains both rolesIs our conclusion correct that this means that for users with the user group "Special employees" they can only read the field in table A?Are the lowest rights assumed by default?Is this a setting that can be set at the application level?Can we provide insight into these types of "conflicting rights" somewhere? FYI: We use the Windows GUI
We have the following application where you can choose your relation using a task in the menu: My wish is to show the selected relation somewhere in the UI where this is always visible, so the user always knows the context of what he/she is viewing (the task basically sets prefilters on tables).I’m sure we’re not the first ones to stumble upon this. Is there currently any way to do this?I could think of future possible solutions on where to show a ‘global’ variable:Set Breadcrum everywhere to a fixed variable. Show a variable in the top (blue) banner to the left of the username. Be able to change the username using a variable. Be able to change the task name using a variable. Or, not only for tasks, be able to assign functionality to a menu (item).
Is there a way to have the badge auto refresh after updating a table? the table has a badge attached to it (with the select count() from table where id badge control procedure) and we set the intervals to 300 seconds but we are also hoping to know if we can have it update itself after adding new record or deleting a record
Hi communityIn our application we use the tsf_translate function for the translation of messages in our business logic (see post for details) .However, we have some problems using the translated messages in unit tests. The function is depends on the session_variable ‘tsf_appl_lang_id’, but this is not set during the execution of the unit-test.Setting the session_context for ‘tsf_appl_lang_id’ in the preparation of a unit-test is also not possible, resulting in an error ‘Cannot set key 'tsf_appl_lang_id' in the session context. The key has been set as read_only for this session.’ during the execution of the unit-test.Any ideas how to test for messages generated by tsf_translate in a unit-test?Your help would be appreciated.
