Hi,I have an uat environment for a client with a lot of basic data in it. Now we want to export some of this data to the clients uat environment. When I export this table ‘Function’ to an .xls I get 50 something rows. 9 columns. All as expected. The table is pk lookup to company_table (ID) text text status (ACT) (varchar) Checkbox mandatory 1 or 0 price (numeric) Lookup to Tariff group (ID) Internal or External (varchar) Checkbox mandatory 1 or 0 When I export the excel and import it, all rows fail. After some toying I found that removing the first row from the xls with the column names resolves a bit. The rows are imported, but only the columns are set. However, the company lookup is not set. The company name exists, so it should lookup I assume. Also, setting the ID from the company_table as a value does not work. But also the checkboxes are not processed correct. The .xls says ‘True’ , but the import sets 0. When I change the value in a 1, it also does not work. Same for the ot
We are trying to make the Merge PDF process action work using Azure file storage. To directly save the combined file in azure (or download file). We have a customer with an external application that will be using our Thinkwise based application. From this external application they want to be able to directly open a Thinkwise document (of a specific type, with a specific id). Prerequisite of course is that the person needs to be authenticated first, but once authenticated it should be able to open the specific form.For the external application it will be possible to know the type (subject) and the id needed to reference the specific instance.Concrete example.:For their product development (system integrations) they use a system to manage the backlog and such. Within our system we provide customer focused service management using a ticketing system. From their backlog they want to be able to open the ticket that they reference in their backlog, preferably using somekind of url.We are using Universal for our Thinkwise product development. Hi,I have a task that runs fine on my system and my UAT. However, on another server I get this error in Indicium;"Cannot resolve the collation conflict between \"Latin1_General_CI_AS\" and \"SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS\" in the equal to operation."' I’ve check the collations on the servers, and both DB’s have the same collation; SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_ASBut the server settings; on the working server; SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_ASon the failing server; Latin1_General_CI_ASNow, I see the difference, but I kinda expected Indicium to respect the Db’s collation settings. But I guess not? Also, I don’t think my client wants to change this on his uat server. Is there any way to get around is? Any help is appreciated!Thanks, Blommetje
We are looking internally to adopt a microservice architecture for one of our existing projects. This project partially integrates with Indicium as a data source.Our architecture design specifies a separate service for connecting to Indicium, which also deals with some of the implementations specific to the Thinkwise ecosystem (such as the TSFMessages header containing error messages instead of the response body).During start-up of this service, I would like to run a health check on the Indicium instance it has to connect to. This health check would be run inside Indicium and check on aspects such as database connections, database responsiveness, some general system checks and whatever else may be relevant to Indicium running properly.Does Indicium have any existing functionality facilitating this, or is this something we would have to implement ourselves in some way?Thank you in advance!
I wanted to reach out and share a problem I've encountered while working with our Azure file storage. We created a task where you can upload a document and preview it. We’re facing an issue with the SAS token not being passed through during the upload process of a document. Although the file path is correct and clearly displayed in the document URL, the upload fails to include the necessary SAS token. Interestingly, when we manually upload the file, it works without any problems.We’re currently investigating this issue and would appreciate any insights or suggestions you may have. I have a question on Indicium logging:I have Indicium running in containers, and would like to know how to supress console logging, the console log is flooded with these dbug messages.
We have a system flow that runs every minute. Most of the time it does not do anything. However sometimes it does quite a lot. This process takes up to more than a few minutes. This is aboslutely no problem. Except that this makes the indicium log file flood itself with ‘procsess still running’ exceptions. Any indications what's the issue here? With getting the logo_data for a tree view I get a bad gateway (502) error.. followed by a similar request that gives a 200 OK.
I have migrated several projects to our new server, and one gives me errors on all application queries (500). Model queries work fine.. So I see the GUI, but never content. I am trying to make a link from a third party application to my Thnikwise application via Indicium. For this I prefer the use of tasks/stored procedures with output parameters, which works fine. To minimize the amount of requests I like to return detail data in JSON format as output. It works almost as expected, except that Indicium ads escape characters (backslashes). I'm trying to test the recently released OAuth login connector support in the Universal GUI. Thanks to the Docs I conclude that I have to update the Extended property oauthredirecturi to switch from http to https.I did this on our TEST environment for the Application in which I am testing this We had the Indicium recycled after the changeIAM Extended propertyAzure AD error@Vincent Doppenberg However, the error still mentions the http uri. Could it be that the Universal GUI does not look at the IAM Extended property override?Another question: previously we always used the /signin-microsoft for this scenario in Insomnia. I want to setup an tw applicatio mainly for retrieving data by indicium, using the odata functionality. The data itself is already in the tables. I want to setup a user or role thet canb only read data, while another user/role can write also. The external parties want to access the api by a bearer token.Is there any documentation how to setup this?
We are playing with the Power BI OData Service Document endpoint that is supported since Indicium 2022.2.17 and tried to get Suggestion 3 from this blog working (adding table name and select / filter criteria after the application.svc in the OData URL). We are able to load the https://my_server/indicium/iam/iam/application.svc endpoint We are able to load the endpoint example as stated in the below image (from the blog) We are not able to load the application.svc endpoint including similar Table name and select or filter criteria and instead get an 404 error. Is this functionality not supported by Thinkwise, or is the syntax supposed to be different?

How can i configure a user in IAM for the use of Web GUI and Universal GUI at the same time?For now we are using Web mostly of the time, so the Authentication is set to IAM. We want to use the Universal GUI for an other application, but for that we have to set the Authentication field to External, with the Identity provider as Microsoft (AAD).But with the Authenticaton set to External we cannot login to the Web GUI anymore, it gives a ‘wrong password’-error. What is the way to go for using both GUIs at the same time?
