Hi, When we do an export (immediately) from our grid the column order in Excel is based on the table column order. However, in the subject, the order is different. Is it correct that the export uses the table column order, and not the subject order? And if so, can this be modified?We have a table and a variant with a different grid order.. so the table column order is not ideal. Thanks! Blommetje
How can I see in Universal that a screen is limiting its result by the “max. no. of records” when applicable?Some screen we have set a limit for performance reasons, but I cannot seem to find when a screen is limiting my result or that is falls right in the range.
It appears that you cannot drop a grid line on top of a card-list item that hasn't got the focus.. Hovering over the intended card list item doesn't activate the card. In stead it's added to the one with the existing focus. Is this a bug or still under development?Situation:Card list with a grid as details that consists of planned activities. The idea is to drag a planned item and drop onto another agenda (card). When you drag the grid line to the card list the component gets activated, but never the card.
How do I make use of the Report actions in Universal? When I add a parameter with the property “Action”, I do get the dropdown available in the Windows GUI, but in Universal it does not appear.In want to give user the opportunity to choose their export preference as “Print preview” now defaulted to exporting PDF. There is no option for them to choose for example Excel, Word.
In the Web GUI when you choose “Export immediately”, it only exports the visible columns. When I use this same option in the Universal GUI, it uses all columns of the table/view.How can I enable the same functionality, as we do not want users to see the hidden data?
1.For some reason I cannot change the with for the columns from a Pivot.I have tried several values in the ‘Field width’ settings of the ‘cube view fields’ bat that has no effect. and it's not possible to change the with in the GUI itself (by dragging) either.(we are on the latest versions:Patforrm 2023.3 UniversalGUI : 2023.3.12.0.0, Indicium: 2023.3.12.12.I need to block the first (green) columns, when scrolling to the right. in a normal grid this works pretty easy, but I can't find out how to do that in a pivot.

Both the row total & row grand total are not working at the moment. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong with the settings?Next to checking the 2 boxes, I experimented with adding a “Total” for the cube view field (of type “Data”) I want to be summarized with no success so far. How do I control how wide the task fields are going to be?The window seems to open a fixed size, partially depending on the “no. of columns in form” setting, but I’d like the window to be wider as certain fields require more room to show/enter the values. Having tried “Field width (px)” and “Label widh (px)” in various combinations and with even large numbers, they seem to have no effect.Current version of GUI: 2023.3.13.0.0

Hi Community, I've been tasked with solving the following issue: Show a different screen type when device is a tablet. The first thing that comes to mind is the Breakpoint setting under Screen types > Form. Unfortunately this won't work due to the fact that your average tablet has a greater resolution than the average computer screen. When using CSS in websites this issue can be solved quite easily. The following solutions are available through the use of media queries. We deployed the latest Universal GUI 2023.3.13 BETA and we're trying to figure out a couple of new features. However, we don't see the Screen types or Details options in the Overflow menu. Apart from the setting ‘Available for user preference’ on Screen Type, what other pre-requisites apply?NOTE: We are still on TWP 2023.2 and ran all Hotfixes. The Release Notes also state this:Another change is that you can now place both a taskbar and a task tiles component on a screen. Previously, the taskbar would be removed. Good day,We have a task to upload a file using the file upload component. When a file is being uploaded using this task we expect a progress bar to appear under the field where the name of the file is displayed. This worked on GUI version 2023.1.15.1.0Since GUI version 2023.2.10.0.0 the load bar does not appear anymore. This load bar was used to indicate the user that the file was uploading and that the following task could not be started yet. Now it looks like the following:The file upload pop upThe text of the file disappears for 50% and the load bar is not shown. The indication for the user is gone and now it's possible to accidentally hit the "execute” task before the file is fully uploaded. This could lead to improper processing of the file. Is this a bug in the latest version of the universal GUI?
Recently we’ve upgraded our Test- and Staging environments in Azure to Indicium 2023.1.15 and Universal GUI 2023.1.15.1 and enabled the Extended Property RefreshOnDocumentSwitch = Yes as described in the release notes of Universal GUI 2023.1.15Release Notes Universal GUI 2023.1.15 | Refresh on revisiting a page or tabHowever, we don't see any refreshed data when a user revisits the opened document in the menu.Are we missing something? Any help would be appreciated. PS: We have disabled ‘Show Open Documents’ in the software factory, so we don't show the open documents in the menu.
Running GUI version 2023.1.17.1.0, when trying to view a PDF file in the preview component I get the error ‘This page has been blocked by Chrome / Microsoft Edge’:It does however seem to work using Firefox, which means there is something going wrong with Chromium browsers. Might it have something to do with the following? BREAKING: Chromium browsers no longer support http://Some of Indicium's authentication features, such as Single Sign On (SSO) and Single Logout (SLO), require Indicium's authentication cookie to have the samesite=none attribute. Chrome has recently made a change that causes cookies with this attribute to only work when the cookie is secure, meaning that the cookie was requested and received over a secure channel (i.e. https://). Consequently, you can no longer log in over http:// when using Chromium-based browsers such as Chrome and Edge, and this behavior will likely extend to more browsers in the future.We already require usage of https:// in production environment
Hi,Response times (ping) are sometimes quite slow and we are noticing with the Universal GUI that it creates some odd/unwanted behaviour. Especially when it comes to defaults, layouts and contexts.. they appear to get loaded at last. Which means that tasks, tabs and als fields that get disabled via procedures stay open between loading entity and the loading and application of the def/lay/ctx procedures. A similar thing happens after executing a task. During execution the task is greyed out.. but short after it gets enabled again. Due to the sometimes high latency the refresh is not instant. The user gets the option to click the task again. What are the options here to deal with this? Can we somehow group entity loading including procedures that influence it's behaviour?

Hi,In the Windows it is possible to change the filter condition of a filter form in the GUI for example from ‘equal to’ to ‘smaller than’ etc. In Universal this can be set in the subject, however in the GUI itself this seems to be uneditable. Is there some way the user can choose it’s own filter condition like in the Windows GUI? If not, when will this become available?Kind regards,Allard

We have a filter issue for a non-reference field with datatype NUMERIC. The filter condition set in the SF doesnt reflect the filter in the GUI. In the SF ‘equal to’ is set to filter condition, but in universal it keeps showing up as ‘bigger then or equal to’. When set to ‘equal to’ in the SF, we would like to see a combobox populated with all existing values in the table.
Hi, For our application, we are facing on several screens performance issues since we are in production and the set of data is growing.Some examples:For a table we moved some big fields containing json content already to a separate table, and made them visible in a form tab. But when click on the form tab, it still will take > 30 sec before it is loaded. It looks like the full table is loading before the related record is shown. For a screen we have defined a form layout to show (summary) details of related child records. This is currently build in a view, but when loading that tab it will take some time before the (filtered) data is shown. For a table we are showing lot of extra data with expression fields as the base data is not stored in that table, but in related tables. It is not preferred to have that data stored twice, als in the ‘header’ table to reduce the number of expression fields.Are there suggestions to improve the performance for loading the data in a form detail?
What is the way to refresh the data model in the Universal GUI?I have an application built for the Windows GUI and now I want to use it in Universal but that needed some changes in the model. I am running the Universal GUI directly to SF.For example; I disabled the Layout input of a column, but Universal keeps giving an error about a missing parameter in the layout procedure.The only way to stop all these errors was to recycle Indicium, but there must be a nicer/easier way.
I am trying to upload a file using a simple task with a input parameter using the file upload control. Using the windows and webgui everything works fine, but in the universal gui it does not. I tried to use a file system and ftp storage location, this makes no difference, the universal gui fails. Sometimes I receive a file_upload_not_finished error, sometimes the second error shown below. In case of the second error and ftp storage there is the following entry in the error logs:[ERR] Failed to get E-Tag for file path ftp://ftp.****.nl/test/2022-0267.xml. Hi,We have a view with a auto-edit and auto-save form, we have 1 editable field which is a barcode, after entering a barcode and hitting <tab> (which a barcode scanner does) in universal the focus goes onto the next object and does not save the record, is that intended? (2022.2.14 gui) Focus is on the 3 dots, top right.Also: When entering the screen, I cannot change records because of the form being in edit mode, we first have to cancel the row and select a new row. For us not a big problem for now, but I don't think this is intended?
We want to create a flow where the end-user can enter a new record. There is a main form and a task bar at the bottom. A menu item is available which starts a task and a process flow. In the process flow the record for the main form is created, the document opened (table variant), the row is set on the new record id and edit modus is on. In Subjects » Settings the auto-save is On and in the screen types » Settings (Universal) Hide Main action bar is On. However, it seems that the task buttons are not available (active="false") when the form is in edit-modus. In the old version of Universal the task buttons were available. Do you have any idea what has changed to make this feature stopped working in our application? Old version: Universal GUI 2022.1.12 b1.0 New version: Universal GUI 2022.2.15 b1.0 (Platform versie: 2022.2)
