Hi Erwin, thank you  The view we can make, but we need a topic-lookup filtered on the speaker at the venue, so we can link venue to multiple topics.

Everything worked out as you described, Mark. Thank you! We locked horns with the Azure storage, because it refused to save the package until we figured out that both the runtime configuration in SF and the application storage in IAM need to have the same SaS token. It's not sufficient to configure both with a valid but different token.We have an additional question though. We gave the deployment package a version, as you said. After deployment package #1 we kept on building, and created a deploymnt package #2, with a different version name/number. However, Deployment Center refused to update the installation that we did using deployment package #1. Instead, we used deployment package #2 to create a new application, and deleted the previous one.How do we get the deployment package to update the installation in the future? We tried changing the manifest file (set the supportedVersions key) to accept the previous version, but it didn't work. Deployment Center said "no" to the upgrade. Th

Thanks Mark! Much appreciated! We're still waiting on the tenant and client IDs and the secret.A question about the deployment package, if I may? This sounds like a great solution. We never looked at this possibility yet until now. We tried to make a deployment package, but we only got through the first three steps. The other steps got a red cross. We're thinking it needs a storage space of some kind. Since we're on Azure, this is not there (yet). Does deployment package creation need to be done on a local development PC, working on a local code base by any chance? Or should it work on an Azure configuration as well?

That was quick! It helps, thanks very much, Mark! 😊Since we need an app registration at the "other” Azure in order to create a key vault, we're waiting for a 3rd party to create this. In the meantime, we'd like to ask some questions regarding this process if you don't mind.If we understand you correctly, we create a new application in the existing IAM, yes? When the configuration is complete, including encryption settings, we can create the application at the "other” Azure from the SF.How would we link the new application in the “other” Azure environment to its own IAM on that Azure environment? Can this be done at all, or is the production application always linked to the IAM that configures the development-  and test environment as well?

Thanks Mark 🙂👍 Much appreciated. I don't know if anyone else uses defaults with @curssor_to_col_id to trigger an autofill, as opposed to a suggestion box for example. I'll specify an idea for this, good suggestion.I was thinking of an idea like setting visibility of a hidden input field containing the hour glass, that gets switched with the actual field, and once the searching/filling is done the visibility gets switched back again. However, I'm sure the same principle applies: visibility can be set once for the execution of the “default” query. It probably has to do with whatever gets generated by SF, which doesn't support this kind of dynamic behavior.

We only seem to be able to filter top-level nodes, not the nodes that are retrieved from references. Suppose that the lookup table driver contains a driver_full_name column. Hi Mark,The addresses are still importing. Adding the indexes to the table resulted in the record insertions lasting ten times as long somehow 🐢 When the insertions are done, somewhere next month,  we'll be looking at this issue again. One option is to generate a full address column for each address, so we can use the "contains" suggestion combo on one single column. But, like I said, we'll be looking at this once we have the address table full and complete. To be continued 🙂 ...Best regard,- Alex.

Hi Renée.We found the solution by digging into the tsf_user() function. We can simply call system_user from within our application to get the user name. And in IAM, the username is also available. This is great! We don't have a proper context without impersonating every IAM user, so we would never be able to generate the user GUID as returned by tsf_user. How to use IAM user details within application itself

Hi Renée,I presume that this user ID can be found in a table within the IAM database, is that correct? So far, e haven't been able to find anything in any IAM table. We see a name as user ID, not a GUID. So, the GUID we see in the application can't be traced to an IAM user (now that I'm typing this my brain gets misty as well 😁). We need to be able to automate the linking of IAM users with the driver role to the users in the application driver table. There's hundreds, possibly thousands of drivers to link. No way someone will go into IAM to copy a GUID, go back to the application, find the driver and update an ID field with that GUID, one by one.Best regards,- Alex.

Opening the table using the hourglass, you can use paging to only load the data of a single page within the opened popup. Filtering could be used to get to the desired result there. Talking about the dropdown, we support two types of controls. Comboboxes will loading all options directly. A suggestion control will trigger the user to type a key-word first. This last option is the best option on a data set like this. Now we reduced the amount of data transferred to the client. When the call remains slow, indexes on the database or prefiltering will indeed optimize the call for data.  Thanks Erik! Why wait with adding the index until its filled? You can enable the index and it will be build while filling, you might need to do some rebuilding but doing regular maintenance on indexes is smart in any situation. Azure will create indexes automatically if you enable that feature but that will take time before they recognize regular queries and suggest indexes. Since you are doing text searches you probably also benefit from a full-text index. Thanks André! We held off creating the index until all data would be inserted, which is adviced in a couple of blogs we were reading about it. Azure recommended an index, the index is being made at this moment. Thanks! We'll recreate the index when all is done, and we'll add the full-text index as well.

Thanks Tim! That works! 🙂 It doesn't work on date and time inputs though, and combo boxes stay behind as well. I can't grab these as .form-field .time-input label, and input .time-input label  doesn't seem to work either. Do you happen to know the trick to grab these as well?

Thanks Freddy! We've been playing with ideas. The options you provided didn't quite fit our needs. We ended up storing the files in a separate table. This way, we can preview one file at a time.

Hi Anne,I only just now saw your reply to this topic from a month ago. As I understand it, you guys will be working on this in the near future. I'm not sure who's input you ask for, but I can give mine. Reading your post, I see that you have two opions that you consider implementing. The first being the existing heuristic one, with an extra level of depth to hour, against the current deepest level of day. The other option is more complex, but offers deeper levels, up to minutes even.That second option is approaching what we need. We need a planner that supports the following functionalities:The planner can schedule units with a minimal duration of 5 minutes. Hi Dick,You were right. Porting the problematic behavior to the database sheds more light on the issue. Look at what I found. As you said, I put everything that matters into a query window.As you can see, all parameters are NVARCHARS, maxed out. And, the Json value is correctly grabbed by the JSON_VALUE method. So, of course, one would expect the same correct result for the access_token attribute. So, this is what happens.Somehow, this doesn't work. Maybe the value surpasses a length, or contains an illegal character of some sort. Weirdness! I'll keep posting whatever I find out regarding this. The server we use is an Azure SQL server by the way. Perhaps some settings need checking.Best regards,- Alex.

Hi Dick,We're doing almost exactly what you're doing. We have a first call to get the token. This works correct. When we have a token, we make the actual call. That second Http Connector is configured as follows: The variables are filled as described in the image below. This is a bit of a mess, we’re trying various things here. What happens, though, is: the @header_containing_token is set, but it remains NULL, because the @token that gets inserted in it, is NULL. The token itself is not NULL. We have a variable called @token_container, that gets filled with the reply to the token request, which is used to retrieve the token itself from. Below is an image showing the monitor. The domain for both @token and @token_container are nvarchar(max), just as described here.
