Drag and drop disable certain rows & combine with copy

Hi Jitse,It is possible to setup parameter(s) that need to match the value of a certain column. Only when they match the task will be executed. You can set this up in the drag-drop parameters tabpage. For a example a task parameter with the default value which matches the not linked status.This should help with the issue of only allowing to execute the task on rows that are not linked & I think will also help with not dropping on the table.

Element translation for message parametersOpen

Hi Mark,I mean the task parameters in the message text. These are supported in the universal GUI, but for task parameters with a combo domain it uses the database value instead of the translation of the element.Which kind of defeats the purpose.

Run query at login (without start object)

Hi Bas,The nicest solution would be to use a start object for the group containing the users which need to be determined. This start object could be a single task or even a processflow with a finish action to remove the current user from the group with the start object. This way this logic will only be called once.Another option would be to set a ‘StartupProcedure’ in the extended properties.This procedure will then be called every single time the application is started.

Hi Timothy,Good to hear you've already fixed it by recreating the screen type from scratch, but just for your information, it was probably caused by setting the screen type to hide the main action bar.

Hi Freddy,Good to hear the markers now show up at the right location!The base layer is a strange one, to me it looks like you configured it all right. Show base layer is set to true.Which base layer is shown in the GUI is provided by the i_ui_map_base_layer view.Could you check if your base layer is included?

Gantt chart planning

@Kevin Horst is there any experience from the custom demo-team concerning a Gantt Chart planning developed by the SF ? Hi Dennis, For a lot of custom demos, we have created a Gantt Chart as you described. The only thing which we haven't done is set up visual dependencies between tasks, logical dependencies are of course no problem. The Resource Scheduler model does support a parent task id & reference task id for the tasks, which I think are used for this but maybe someone from Product Innovation like @Anne Buit can clarify this. If you need any help, feel free to ask.

'Create project version' could be more user friendlyCompleted

In the 2020.2 version of the Software Factory, this task will be hidden if there is already a project version available. Hi Jeroen, Good to know it's already implemented but why in the 2020.2 release? The 2020.1 isn't even out yet.

This task is called automatically after creating a new project, and there are indeed not many use cases to create an empty project version in an existing project. We will consider hiding this task if there is already a project version available. Hi Jasper, I think this would be a appropriate resolution.

This feature is scheduled for the 2019.2 release. In addition, we will also use this information to optimize the generation process. Instead of deleting and recreating all generated objects when generating, the SQL merge statement will be used to only synchronize the changes. Hi Jasper, This wasn't part of the 2019.2 release, will this be included in the next release?

Copy queries from views in upcycled databases

Hi Hauke, In the current upcycle script there is no functionality which imports the definition of the views. There are two reasons for that: We need to generate the definition of the model first Every database saves the 'Query' of the view a little bit differently, so most of the time you need to ever slightly change the import script. Therefore we haven't incorporated it into the main upcycle script yet. Hi Erwin, The checkbox for 'Review required' only takes care of the validations regarding the review of finished control procedures. It is advised to disable this, only after all the existing control procedure have been reviewed, otherwise they will still be set on 'To review'. This could be considered a bug/improvement. The validations regarding 'Control procedure in development' are not changed. They still need to be marked as finished.

Hi Roland, In the current version of the Softare Factory, it is possible to disable the requirement of reviewing the Control Procedures. It can be found under Settings > configuration: [img]https://uploads-eu-west-1.insided.com/thinkwise-en/attachment/614709d6-f56f-4160-9200-1e092ee59957.png[/img] That way you no longer have to review code and the validations don't show up. Does this solve your problem?

Validation for invalid domain namesMerged

Hi Jeroen, Most of the time new inexperienced Thinkwise developers try to create domains with a name the same as a pre-existing datatype on the database, like: [list] [*]Int [*]Money [*]Date [*]Datetime [*]etc. [/list] These don't show up in the validations.
