Looking better at it, the From column should not be filled as you are assigning a different data-source; the given Default value query. That will fix the issue 😄 Ah, I did not know that those things were mutually exclusive, thank you, this was the solution!Perhaps it is possible to warn users that this is mutually exclusive?
Hi Thomas, This is not supposed to happen as this will cause an error. Could you report this inside TCP? This way our Metamodel team can correct this and keep you up-to-date. I was able to pinpoint the piece of code resulting in this problem. This will help resolving the issue quicker. Thanks! Thanks Mark, I have submitted it to TCP (85416)
Hi Mark,Thank you for your quick reply, I am glad to see that you are working on a strucural solution to this! It seems that untill the solution is implemented we will have to do some cleaning up (safely of course using a backup!).
Hi Thomas, Thank you for your suggestion and help to improve the platform. I have converted this topic to a conversation as it is not an Idea that needs votes. We'll take a look at this and report our findings back here. By the way; What code did you execute to find out this Index was missing? Having a reproduction query makes it more easy for us to pin-point the place to be improved. Hi Mark,Thank you for your quick reply! It is hard for me to pinpoint the exact code, but I think is was the view i_sync_role_col, which contains the function in some where clauses. I also believe one of your colleagues that help us once collected our SF for reproduction purposes for you guys, as we have a very large amount of roles. Is this enough information for you?
Hello Erwin,Thank you for your reply and explanation!
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "even if it is not visible as list or form.”. Are you selecting the Material table directly and not as a detail? I tried to recreate your user case but I do not get the same result. Is the parameter hidden and mandatory? Hello Erwin,I may have made my question too complicated. Here is a simpeler example: My cursor is the results table in the SF, and I have selected the first row. Using ALT+R, I can somehow call the task in the parent table Control procedure.
