Parameters for messages universal GUI.

Hi,

In the windows GUI I can use the following method to show parameters in a message as long as these parameters also exists as process variables in the same process flow as the message

But when the same message shows up in the universal GUI I get nothing:
 

Is this feature not available in the universal GUI or om am I missing some crucial step. Is there a workaround?
