Is there a ShortKey (e.g. Ctrl+Enter) to go directly to the 'Execute' button in a task from any field?Users wish to complete a task faster, by skipping optional fields, without having to use the mouse. Example:  

I would like to restrict my users to a single session. The user may only be able to login from a single computer. If the user try to login from an other computer the session must be blocked.Is this possible?

I want to show a different text in a URL control type. It always shows the URL link, Is there a way to do this?

hi,As an ISV we want our customers to set a folder to import files, this folder can be changed to specific sub-folders, but is always on a server, and Indicium has access to it.With the current (2022.2) List folder, we have to set a storage location but we cannot change this location from the client application. After getting the filenames, we can use the Read File (non-file storage) to read the files and process them further.How can we set a dynamic folder to read these files?

In our application we usually allow the standard export of a table through the button on the lint. In many cases though there are columns which are used for calculation of presentation but are not meant to be exported. It would be handy to hide these columns from the list of column to export when the user chooses the advanced export. Unfortunately hiding such a column in the ‘Subject’ tab or through a layout does not have the desired effect of hiding it from the export. So the question is: is there actually a way to hide a column in a table so that the user can never select it for export?

I am working on the following: a user should be able to choose a date when an employee is inactive. I want the user to be notified in case a date is chosen which is more than 3 months ago. I want this notification to appear the moment the user leaves the date field. Displaying the message happens, just not at the right time. Instead of the message appearing the moment after you choose the date, the message already appears when you scroll through the calendar and go back further than 3 months. Can someone explain what could possibly be going wrong here? When scrolling back, the message appears. It’s hidden behind the calender.  The code in my default

Hey everyone,I would like to migrate from the Basic Indicium to the Universal Indicium. I am currently using the Basic Indicium for interfacing with another system through the web. Does the Universal Indicium support the full API interfacing features which the Basic Indicium supports? And are there any differences between those 2 types of Indicium that I should take into consideration when switching from the Basic to the Universal Indicium?

Is it possible to turn off prefilters that are set to 'on hidden' in the subject using a process flow? Right now, it seems like only visible prefilters are affected. I'm wondering if this is a setting I can change or if it's forced by the authorization choices.

Hello,We would like to redundantly equip a print server for printing with Reporting Services.Example:- SRVPRT01 (with printer PR00001)- SRVPRT02 (with printer PR00002) The wish is that if one print server fails, that the user can select another printer on the other print server with also Reporting services installed. Now I understand that you can only install 1 Reporting services on a Windows machine which looks at the print queue. If I activate the back-up print server which looks at the same queue, one gets the message "Printer name '\SRVPRT02\PR0001 - ThinkWise Test' not found in installed printers. Valid values are: PR0002 - ThinkWise Test". Is this a warning? The wish is that the Reporting service on the SRVPRT02 can be active as a back-up printserver and must be able to look at the same queue without the error message/warning. What is the best way to implement this?I hope I have explained it clearly. With regards,Randolph Beekman 

Is there a way to make a column “primary key” even when the table already existed with no primary keys at all? There are things you have to consider, right? All the already existing data needs to be formatted to this new primary key, so it can’t be null So how do you alter this data? Do you have to manually do this in data conversion or SSMS?

When I switch between data sets, or data values in the Software Factory (2020.1.16) I notice this is sometimes very slow (approx. 10 seconds), depending on the amount of columns in the table. The debugger screen doesn't show any heavy query's (all below < 10ms). I do notice a high CPU usage on the SF exe. Is there any way to speed this up?

Hi TW forum,I noticed something interesting and would like to confirm my conclusion. I was following the guide for multirow task executionNow this requires a domain with xml datatype.When I create the domain with xml as name it all works swimmingly. But when I start using custom names for the xml domain its seems impossible to create that domain?Am I correct in understanding that a domain with xml datatype only works if it has the name ‘xml’? I tried making an anne_xml domain and could not find it in user-defined data types nor in the creation scripts.Some testing taught me that running the following code create type anne_xml from xmlgrant references on type::anne_xml to publicgoresults in the error:Cannot create alias types from an XML datatype.My conclusion its that its technically impossible and the adding of a domain for xml is just so its available in the model?Which will then translate into to the code as ‘xml’ using the build in data type xml.I think that’s a pretty cool solutio

We have a (detail) dataset with 65 rows with x-y coordinates, which we like to show on the map.For some reason only 50 items are visible on the map.Is there a maximum number of markers that can be shown on a (detail) map? 

For the deployment of a new Windows GUI, does it matter whether you choose the TSF_ClickStarter or the TSF_dotNET .exe?  

I ran into a problem uploading files with the web GUI (2020.2.20 and earlier as well).To explain the problem let’s say that we want to upload a document with the filename Test.txt (content: This is version 1). The destination of the uploaded file is the file system. The document is also registered in the table bijlage (column: bijlage, domain: bestand_link, control: file link).Uploading the document for the first time is successful. No problems here.But now the user has created an updated version of the file with the filename Test.txt (content: This is version 2). Het decides to delete the previous record from the table bijlage and creates a new record and uploads the updated file Test.txt again.Because the original file was not deleted from the web server, the upload results in a filename with an adjusted filename: Test_1.txt. The strange thing is, that the upload control still shows the original filename Test.txt and shows the wrong content.  Of course I could delete the file from th

I have done heaps of tests in the Learn platform.  The evaluations sometimes do not award the full points.  how do i get more information about the result?Now I cannot continue since I do not know what I should answer to get full points.

Hi I have a task in my application that takes a long time to complete and times out in the universal GUI. Since it was part of a process flow I assumed it had to wait for the task to finish to send the user to the result of the task. Now we have decided to turn it into a background task that does not send the user anywhere and is not contained in a process flow. We switched the setting await result to “no” but it seems the universal GUI does not pick up this setting since it still opens the loading window and times out after some time. Setting in SFTask is pendingNow the only thing I can still think of is that it is a task as a menu item could that be blocking the await result option? Or does await result not work in Universal GUI if so are there any workaround i can use?

We are trying to import an Excel file using the indicium API option. We run into the problem that after 3m50 seconds, the import stops. The system flow shuts down after this period of time. This way, we can import only approx. 3000 rows, which is not enough.We noticed one difference between the Universal GUI, which uses a start commit, and the documentation that advices a commit using the API. Is this significant?Anyone that can help us with this issue?

I've got a branch and a main, in the branch i've written functionality that's in need of an upgrade script. We're migrating some from a column that will be deleted during the upgrade to a new table, so therefore I need to assign it as a During upgrade script. Since after the first upgrade the column is deleted this script will cause future upgrades to fail, to prevent this I only want to execute this script when upgrading from our latest production version. To enable this, I've set Use upgrade logic to true for this version (in the main), this is having the desired result in the main, however in the branch these program objects are not showing up in the Assigning tab. What am I doing wrong? 

We are trying to use the generated session variable: select SESSION_CONTEXT(N'guid') in Universal GUII’ve added it in a sample task that will show the generated guid but the returned value are only 1s and 0s for all users. Do I need to configure something in SF or IAM in order to display a different GUID for each tsf_user()? 

With HTML control Universal | Thinkwise Community it has become possible to change the font in the HTML control in the Universal GUI. Is there a way to add a font to this list? 

Hello everyone,In our application we have a few custom components. Those custom components are integrated well. But there is one point where the integration of these components doesn't work as well: on the topic of the themes (dark mode and light mode). We now have to manually toggle the components to match the theme of the software, which is weird, why would the user need to toggle a component from light to dark mode or from dark to light mode when the software should do that automatically?Is there a way to know in what mode the software is? It would help to automatically switch the theme to the theme the application is already on, otherwise the overly bright component is highly distracting.So in short: is there a way to know whether the software is in dark or light mode, so we can change the components accordingly? 

We just upgraded our development environment to 2025.2.First thing we noticed are missing translations for default task buttons:  Did we do something wrong? 

Sometimes some of our users have the problem process flows running from Universal don't work anymore. Logged in on their system (a scanner running Android) using a different username it works, running the process flow on a different system using their account name doesn't start the process flow. In the Indicium log no messages turn up.How can such a situation occur, is there a way we can find out what's the problem and how can we fix this? Sometimes resyncing the application to IAM works, last time this happened we needed to dis- and enable the application to get the process flows running for these users. Of cause, this is not the right solution.
