Hi, We are implementing unit tests and want to keep track of our progress. However, we have several unit tests with the unit test type 'Subroutine’. This unit test type is not taken into account in the analysis. How can we keep track of our subroutines (i.e. functions and procedures) in the different cubes? The unit test types: And the code groups show in the cubes:

To test certain functionality we want to use a task with the logic type 'GUI code'. Apart from these 2 lines in the documentation, we can't find anywhere how to get such a task working.https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/sf/tasks#gui-codeDoes anyone have examples of tasks with the type 'GUI code'?

We process different types of events, questionnaires and more. So we created different variants for that.To assign the authorization roles, we should be able to assign full rights to a webinar event, but only read access to e.g. masterclasses. Or looking at questionnaires: full access to invitations and no rights to session tests. Of course based on the menu we can limit the access to webinars / masterclasses. But giving full access to table evnt (for events, webinars, masterclasses, examinations) for webinars and read to masterclasses, the user has full access to both.So, can we get the option to grant access for a variant of a table?

Hi,I am trying to update a file in a document table using stage_edit with Postman. Everything looks to work fine. All the right status codes, but nothing happens. The record remains unchanged. The steps I take to perform the update are:create a stage which returns a 201 Created and a stage_id: POST .../document(document_id=50)/stage_edit then using a PATCH .../staged_document(<STAGE_ID>) I assign the new filename, in our case "storage_location": "xyz.pdf" using a JSON payload which returns a 200 OK and "resource_changed": true in the result body then I upload the physical file (a local PDF) using POST .../staged_document(<STAGE_ID>)/upload_storage_location which results in a 204 No Content and to finish up I commit the stage using POST ../staged_document(<STAGE_ID>)/commit which results in a 201 Created and the correct Location value in the headers The initial creation of the document record follows a similar path using stage_add and creates the document-record with a

How can I show an image in grid based on a public URL? I have a field with a varchar domain and UI control ‘Image link’. When configuring the storage location as storage type ‘AWS S3’ we get exactly what we want, however we want it to work using a public URL instead of an S3 bucket. We have tried ‘File system’ and setting the base path in the ‘path’ definition of the File System configuration. This does not show the image - see screenshot below. Unfortunately the indicium logs do not show anything related to fetching/showing the image/thumbnail. The developer tools show two requests related to the thumbnail. One does a count (no clue why) and the other seems to do something with filtering and returns the extracted file name from the URL and shows the indicator IsInvalid = TRUE probably meaning the file, url or request is invalid:URL:http://server_name/indicium/sf/1111/work_order_view.trade_work_order_kind_normal?useControlBasedFiltering=true&$filter=((subsidiary_id%20eq%201186)%20a

Hi all,I'm working on building a screen type with a lot of information on the screen in the form of tables (5) and a form (1). During the design phase, it was determined that the page is vertically oriented and that users should be able to scroll through it at the page level (not at the table level). We assumed that the vertical scrollbar would automatically be added when you put 'too many elements' on the page, but this is not the case, and that's where my problem lies. I would like to have the scrollbar, but I'm not sure how, and I've already tried several things. Can someone point me in the right direction? I’ve added a sketch for clarity.ps. Lately (since about 2 weeks) the TW Windows GUI has been crashing very regularly in Azure's RDP, causing the app to fail for all users. This might be a bit of a bug. If i adjust the lookup from combo to suggestion contains instead of the drop down box we get the magnifying glass as lookup button. But it is only visible when the field is a certain number of pixels wide. If we change the field lookup to suggestion contains, should the field be auto set wider? or should the lookup button always be visible, with a bit of space to click for typing as well?Example: https://imgur.com/DqXLDyZ

i would like to make a scheduler overview which synchs with muliple google aganda's does Thinkwise have an option for that (simular to the Microsoft Graph)?

Kinda like the defaults concept, where you have the option to supply default values for a property, except you set the default value for the filter, and this value is used when the data is retrieved from the database. For example a date filter like below. The 'expected arrival' filter should be filtered on a date range. E.g. between 'TODAY' and TODAY+7 days. This gives the end user direct information about the filter that has been used. The default filter on date could be solved with a set of prefiters. Except that the user does not get an indication about the actual date filter that has been used for this filtering, making this a less than ideal situation.

When running TSF with GUI version 2023.1.17 I get this in screen types - design:  Is this a known issue?

As the tooltip indicates, the "Translating using AI" enrichment uses the fallback language (in our case, English). However, it currently seems impossible to translate an untranslated English or Spanish object using AI, which means the usual "Translate using ID" task must first be performed, followed by the AI translation.I can understand to some extent that this is a deliberate choice, as you would want to review and approve a manually translated or ID-based object before proceeding with further translations. This approach mitigates the risk that, if the initial translation is flawed, the subsequent translations will also be incorrect.Do you agree with me that the user interface could still be improved? Currently, the task is executed, and you have to navigate to Enrich model > Run enrichment to see that no update can be performed. Why are earlier sessions still open? And could this have an impact on the application? We start the application via a Windows GUI with Indicium.

When I want to use a view in the application, there are three options: automatic, customizable and template. Normally, I work with a template but in this case a cube is required where the data is in a table. I was planning on making a variant for the table but that doesn’t fulfil the needs in this case. I thought it would be possible to make this view without a template, but this doesn’t seem to work. My question here is: what is the difference between customizable and automatic? And why is the field ‘view_from_clause’ not customizable in both? And if it’s not customizable, why is the content not emptied? Anyway, while generating the piece of code between ‘select’ and ‘from’ is left blank, despite I’ve defined 4 fields in the view, and they do exist on the table. What am I doing wrong? Why isn’t this work? Am I still obligated to make a template? See the two print screens below:

 We have a view job_history (using dynamic model) of system versioned table job_detail. I chose two different icons for them. How to get application alias or id within custom component to construct correct API endpoint?

The error pop up in devexpress is too small. When you get an error, for example when your query is invalid while managing queries, a pop up will appear with the error message. The text will, in this case, first show the query and always put the actual error information at the end of the text, however the query text is often too long to fit on the screen.The first image shows an example where the error information is only just visible and the second image shows an example of a longer query where the error information is not visible. It would be useful if there was a way to show the entire message, for example: Being able to drag to make the pupup bigger or being able to click on "more" which automaticly makes the popup larger. A quick easy fix could be to at least show the error information first in the message and then the entire query.Is there a way we can make the entire error message visible? Image 1 Image 2: error message is not visible 

Hi!We want to use the cube views in Thinkwise (Windows) to monitor our KPIs. One of these cube views is the representation of the company’s margin. The cube view is built based on a view, and this view is shown below the graph. I have created a ‘dummy’ table and a graph in Excel, which represents the view shown for the user. The formula for the margin KPI is as follows:100 * (sum(invoiced[€]) / sum(margin [€])​)Our users would like the following:The KPI calculation should be based on what the view is currently showing. This means that the calculation is ‘triggered’ (process flow?) when the user starts filtering in the view. The result should be shown near the margin view (or ideally, implemented in the graph). But it can also be a value stored in another table.Is it possible to start a process flow where I can fetch the shown data (e.g. order_id; financial done dates and order category) in the view when the user starts filtering? We are trying to import an Excel file using the indicium API option. We run into the problem that after 3m50 seconds, the import stops. The system flow shuts down after this period of time. This way, we can import only approx. 3000 rows, which is not enough.We noticed one difference between the Universal GUI, which uses a start commit, and the documentation that advices a commit using the API. Is this significant?Anyone that can help us with this issue?

Compared to the Windows GUI, the Universal GUI offers limited formatting options in the text editor.Most of the font and paragraph options are missing, and we require them. Additionally, the ability to add tables and links is essential for us. This is preventing us from transitioning to the Universal GUI. 

Since Thinkwise itself doesn’t profile itself as a bookkeeping system, we have realized an integration with Exact Online for our Thinkwise application. This was recommended by Thinkwise because the integration is relatively easy due to similar code. However, it appears the integration still comes with a log of bugs and errors. Also, our customer isn’t fully satisfied with the working of Exact Online.Are there any other options/recommendations for a bookkeeping system? How do large Thinkwise customers do this (e.g. VDL Nedcar or Zeeman)?Also, how to archive invoices from Thinkwise (as they should be archived for at least 7 years)? Currently we can regenerate an invoice, but we only store data for 2 years. Could this be done efficiently in Thinkwise for 7 years? Or is it perhaps recommendable to archive every single pdf in another database?Any other ideas/suggestions?

The new version of the SF 2019.2 has a new prefilter "My projects” who's default active. The Software Factory doesn't recognize our NIVERPLAST project as "My project” anymore. I don't know the exactly prefilter conditions but probably this prefilter is watching to the database-user in combination with the user who created the project in the SF or something like that?  For me it feels like a bug but maby there is a good explanation for it?    Project: … (Hidden behind prefilter "My projects” )  Prefilter "My projects” default ON
