I’m busy with migrating our Windows and WebGui to the Universal GUI.Every time I clear my cache (and I have to do this a lot while developing) in Universal I have to change to dark mode again. Is it possible to setup dark mode as default?

Hi,Currently we write a html(body) file as the actual email - where we for example want to have a company logo embedded in the email.  (as in <img src=”...”>). Then we start the smtp_connector and use this html(body) as input. For DevExpress this a html(body) content that is provided from a view column. (Which in turn will generate a pdf report with the image embedded).Can you share your best practice for this and how you have implemented these embedded images?(i.e. use an external website (and how do you serve/upload the picture?) or use CID or base64 or ???)ThanksRickyps. The email variant will not embed the picture due to the location of the <img src=”\\somelocalserver\picture.png”>, the DevExpress report will work just fine. changing the location of the picture to say for example https://i.imgur.com/tt5Vrmp.png (as you do for your emails) will surely work for emails but I haven’t checked if this would work for DevExpress reports

I'm experiencing the problem in the Indicium Mobile App (and also in the Simulator) where my default is not updating the GUI when I'm using a tsf_send_message in the SQL.I'm having a task which does a calculation and shows the result in a tekstbox in the task. Based on that number, the user can execute the task.When the user changes the 'Aantal pakketten’, the calculation will be done:However, in the default, (after the calculation), there is a check which calculates if the amount is too high, ig so, it gives a message:When this occurs, then message shows up as expected:However, the numbers which are updated before (the Aantal palletten and Aantal stuks), are not updated anymore:Am I doing something wrong?

After upgrading the webgui to 2021.1.10 (old version 2020.2.17) the following message pops up:  I checked with version 2020.2.17 and there it still works fine. We have the Crystal Reports runtime engine SP25 installed. Is this a known issue or does anyone know why this message pops up? 

I got my environment setup in azure and the universal login screen is approachable from every IP, the way it should work.The problem is when i want to login. From my home network is working just fine i can login and nothing happens. If I login from my work network then I get the message 'A server error occurred’. This also ocurred when a partner from his home try to login with the same user.I hope someone knows why this happens and how to fix this!

I added a breakpoint on a particular screentype. When I open this subject with the Indicium viewer on the network the breakpoints works well.When I open it on a mobile device on the SF, the breakpoint does not seems to work.In Mobile development we always had to refresh the model. I can’t find an option to refesh a model for the Universal GUI. So I logged out en I logged IN again several times. I emptied the cache but nothing works. Where in TSF, IAM or appsettings is it possible to setup indicium pages displayed native application language (dutch)?For example “user name” to “gebruikersnaam” in <base>/indicium/account/ui/sendPasswordResetToken

For a new project, I want to be able to use different viewtypes in the resource scheduler (see https://community.thinkwisesoftware.com/topic/show?tid=1456&fid=21).I downloaded GUI version 2021.1.10.    How can I enable the viewtype bar?

When I continually adding lines white the shortcut crtl +  , the follow up steps in the process flow are skipped.What do I wrong ?  

For Grid and Form within Subjects you can group columns by checking Next group of the first column and providing a Group label. All columns that follow are also grouped under this Group label, but how do you end a Group?PS I've noticed that a Read-only column will not be grouped under previous labels (even if I want to), but there is not always a Read-only column available for ending a group.

With the update to the latest version of SF we had an issue with icons missing in the web gui. We fixed this on our own local server by setting, which is needed in the latest SF version.  Advice given by Thinkwise:To do this, 'load user profile' must be enabled on the application pool. This ensures that a C: \ Users \ {pool user} \ directory is available, and other things that are not normally created for an application pool identity.It is indeed a recent change, of which I have not yet found the specific documentation. 'load user profile' is already advised to enable, 'Right click on your Application Pool, open the Advanced Settings and make sure that the correct Identity is set. Note that Load User Profile should also be set to True. 'This works fine. HOWEVER, We are not certain IF (and is yes, HOW) this can be set on our Azure deployment. Anyone thoughts on this? We must set this before we deploy. I can’t just trial and error it, since we do not have an up and running Azure deployme

We run the software factory Web GUI on Azure Web App. Recently we scaled the App Service plan to an instance with 8 GB to address high memory usage issues.The Web App platform is still configured as 32 bit.Is there any need or advantage to switch the Web App platform to 64 bit for the Web GUI?

Hi all,I'm using the ReportingService a lot. Based on this article. All is fine and dandy. However, in the .rdl (report builder) files I get some images from a table. The end-user can set a company logo for instance, which appears on the invoice. However, when I generate this report with the reportingservice, the transparancy is not respected. The reports work fine (with transparancy) in Report Builder. Any one any thoughts on this? Or how this can be fixed?Much appreciated,Alex    

This is what happens in Chrome and Edge  Is it an idea to right-align the buttons? Or to have that option?

I created a process flow and have tested this with an initial task. This initial task doesn't have any code attached to it. Starting this process through this task works.Now I want to start this process flow by pressing a key-combination.After updating the model (from within the windows desktop application), this key-combination does not seem to work. Also tried Ctrs-Shift-Alt-H combination with the same result.Is there something else that I should be doing in order to start this process flow?

I see there is an option 'Hide Breadcrumb' in 'Screen Types'. It implies that it is possible to disable the breadcrumbs in certain screens, which can make sense in certain scenarios.Now I have tried it but see no difference in the Windows GUI. I would expect that the space reserved for showing the breadcrumbs would be released for the remaining display components.  What is the idea of this feature?

Is there a place where I can find "Known issues” for various versions of TSF, IAM, Indicium, GUIs or environments (e.g. Azure, AWS)?

Since some versions we have a problem with the Universal GUI after updating. The setting "requestFiltering removeServerHeader = true" in the web.config file causes a 500.19 HTTP error when starting the Universal GUI.If we remove the lines below from web.config, the problem is gone.     <security>       <requestFiltering removeServerHeader = "true" />     </security> The problem is also present with the most recent update.

Does anyone know why some items of the menu don’t show up in the universal GUI? In the settings I selected the windows platform so I expect exact the same menu as in the Windows GUI. And parts of it are exact the same but some items are missing?? This is the WINDOWS GUI menu In the Universal GUI the sybjects Relaties, contactpersonen en concers are missing? 

We've noticed that loading a DevExpress Report for the first time on the Web GUI hosted on Azure takes a long time (~15 seconds up to some times ~60 seconds) compared with the second time (~4 seconds). We’ve enabled Always on, but it doesn't seem to remember.What does affect this first loading time? And how can we prevent it so it doesn't take 15 seconds for the first user?Is it somehow daily cached, or after a certain amount of time? We see that it only takes a long time to open the first report (i.e. purchase_order), if you open another report also for the first time (i.e. invoice), this is around 4 seconds.We’d like to hear more about the possibilities to improve the user experience, Best Regards,René

After updating to SF 2021.1 I get an error message when I want to print a report.The error message:Kan bestand of assembly CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine, Version=13.0.3500.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304 of een van de afhankelijkheden hiervan niet laden. Het systeem kan het opgegeven bestand niet vinden.I have upgraded to CR 2020 and I have uploaded the reports into the SF. The path to the reports on disk is also still effective.What do I wrong? Can anybody help?

When I choose under Deployment, Creation, tab Generate source code and set the checkbox for Write code files to disk on I get the error message: Could not find a part of the path 'S:\Software_fabriek\Applicaties\SQLSERVER_DB\SQLSERVER_DB\Source_code\Groups'.Under project version the value of Project folder specification starts with T:\Software_fabriek\….I get this message since I updated the SF to version 2021.1Do I have to fill in a path somewhere else? Can someone help?

When sending emails with TSFReportMailer I sometimes see the following error message: Failed to attach the attachments. Will not send the email.This happens when the attachement(s) do(es) not exist or when there is a special character in the file name. Especially when the character “&” is used in the file name, this results in the above error message. Why? This is a valid character for a file name, right?Can anyone tell me if it is possible to translate this error message?

I ran into a problem uploading files with the web GUI (2020.2.20 and earlier as well).To explain the problem let’s say that we want to upload a document with the filename Test.txt (content: This is version 1). The destination of the uploaded file is the file system. The document is also registered in the table bijlage (column: bijlage, domain: bestand_link, control: file link).Uploading the document for the first time is successful. No problems here.But now the user has created an updated version of the file with the filename Test.txt (content: This is version 2). Het decides to delete the previous record from the table bijlage and creates a new record and uploads the updated file Test.txt again.Because the original file was not deleted from the web server, the upload results in a filename with an adjusted filename: Test_1.txt. The strange thing is, that the upload control still shows the original filename Test.txt and shows the wrong content.  Of course I could delete the file from th
