It’s sometimes unclear for a user what to fill in. Especially when it comes to amounts, units, numbers, percentages.. They always have an accompanying unit. Would be great to have a input type like the upload where you can select the unit field to be prefixed or suffixed.

@Jeroen van den Belt that would depend on how that idea would be interpreted. If it’s implemented as defining a currency prefix for example upfront, it’s not completely the same. Steering the display value is one, connecting it to the unit of measure (which most likely be another field) is another. 
 

This idea predominantly is about coupling fields of value with its unit of measure. So it’s always crystal clear what a person is entering. The field description is not sufficient as you cannot alter it based on a selected currency for example.
