There are a lot of unnecessary default Rename/Delete buttons and changeable fields in the application. Since there are tasks to do this on the screen, and the tasks actually work better. And in most cases the tasks is the only rename/delete that works.
Example: trying to rename a domain that is used by editing the record will give this error:
Cannot update this row due to related 'Columns'.
Please update or delete these 'Columns' and try again.
Instead you need to use the rename task. If there is a task to rename that actually works better, then hide the default rename field and delete buttons to avoid confusion. These editable fields and not usable delete buttons are all over the application: domains, tables, process flow, functionality etc.
