In Universal RC 2.1.0 versions are showing that are inactive

First off: I'm hoping it's OK that questions are asked about Universal, especially since it is an essential part of our current development.

We've set all our project versions to Inactive (except the current branch), but nonetheless all our project versions show up in the left bar of Universal. Our current project has a larger number of Inactive project versions, so the list gets very long.

Hi Marcel,

Could you provide us a little more information about your situation? 

Do you start your Indicium against IAM or SF directly? 

The GUI uses the view "I_UI_GUI_APPL” from SF / IAM to receive their applications.

We've followed up on this and this is indeed a bug. When starting Universal against the Software Factory, runtime configurations of inactive project versions are shown (which is incorrect).

A hotfix has been planned. 

You can work around this for now as following:

  • Turning off the runtime configurations of the inactive versions for the current user or;
  • Setting the runtime configuration id as application in the Universal login screen or;
  • Adding an alias to the desired runtime configuration and setting this alias as application in the Universal login screen (the alias will be migrated to the new runtime configuration automatically when copying a project version).
